“Can you help me come pick up Lee?” Hop said the moment he got off the phone with Mum, turning to his friend; of course, Victor nodded and smiled, happy to see Leon for the first time in a while, and they hopped on their bikes and raced to their destination.
They arrive at the station just as the train arrives, and Hop grins as he says, “Okay, better find him before he gets lost, then no need to rescue him, huh, mate?”
He laughs at the image of Leon getting lost in the simple, easy layout of their hometown (yet again) and Victor giggles too; when Leon appears, he spots them laughing and says, “What’s so funny?” in a tone that makes Hop laugh harder, giving his directionless brother a cheeky grin.
