“I, I still can’t believe it,” Neku says to himself, smiling softly and staring around the Gatto Nero store in 104, a store full of beautiful clothes and accessories, each one based on designs made by Shiki and her best friend Eri – a store that sprung into existence during Neku’s time in Shinjuku, showcasing his girlfriend’s incredible skills.
“I know, right,” Beat says, slinging an arm around both their shoulders and pulling Neku and Shiki closer as he continues, “all this amazin’ shit in jus’ three years – you’re awesome, Shiki.”
At Neku’s smile and Beat’s praise, Shiki finds her face flushing; part of her regrets bringing them both into her store (she still isn’t used to such praise, and visiting Gatto Nero wasn’t the purpose of their shopping trip), but most of her just bubbles with delight, and as her boyfriends stare at her, Shiki smiles and says, “Thanks, guys, really… but can we get back to shopping now?”
