Work Text:
They sit on the seashore, watching the calmness before the storm. Raven decides to ask about something she's been meaning to ask for some time now.
"I don't understand... Why do you like hanging out with me? I'm dark and cold and I'm a... monster."
"Raven," Garth answers, "I've been living at the bottom of the ocean pretty much all my life. The cold and darkness feel like home to me. And I've seen monsters down there, and trust me, you're just ain't it."
Without changing her expression, Raven turns away, to hide a faint blush growing on her cheeks.
