Quackity takes a shuddered breath as he ends the call. Damn it
He doesn’t have the time. He begins to walk down his hall once more, his steps faster. Slime jogs to stay by his side.
“Red Chaos from nowhere in particular seems very upset.”
“He’s keeping Chonos safe?”
“Yep!”
Something explodes outside and Quackity feels bitter resentment burn inside him. Fucking Schlatt giving him more reasons to hate the goat hybrid.
“Go find Niki, tell her the location Red Chaos gave us and tell her Jester wants her to go pick up Red Chaos and Chronos and bring them to the Syndicate. Red Chaos promised to be good, Chonos is badly injured and needs help now ”
Another explosion, Quackity walks faster half-heartedly listening to Slime’s answer of “Okay Quackity of Las Nevadas!” as he slinks away to find Niki.
Quackity just wanted answers. He was surprised when Slime hummed to him that Nemesis said “Red Chaos is in Las Nevadas”. He was overjoyed when Red Chaos agreed to play in his card game and share some answers. He was downright giddy trying to piece together the bits of Red Chaos he was given. He was less than amused when Red Chaos uses his cheated win to try and get a meeting with Valorant.
Red fucking Chaos
Cheats in his card game, thinking he’s entitled to get Quackity to give him a way to go and talk to Valorant. Damn it Sap what did you get yourself into — Red Chaos and Dream. brothers . Fuck, who would have guessed. Red Chaos had no personal connection to any hero outside of Dream that any of Quackity’s people could find, Dream equally an enigma but much less at the same time and the fuckers considered themselves brothers. Quackity swallowed back a scoff, some brothers they made. But how does Sap fit into this Damn it, he wishes he could’ve had more time with Red Chaos, to shake him until he got the answers he wanted, but noooo Karl took him. Karl, who promised he’d be fine, who was far away. Karl who was hurt .

Quackity’s throat is dry, if he was a lesser man he thinks he’d cry. Karl had been using his powers for 2 months , Karl had been hiding this from him and Sapnap for 2 months . The last time Karl used his powers, Quackity spent days caring for him, praying he’d get better, begging him to never push himself like this again. But here he was again… 2 months .
That idiot.
At least Red Chaos was with him. Fuck, he’d never have thought he’d think that about that bitch hero. not a hero anymore. Karl would be fine, Red was loyal to Dream but he kept honest to his favors, Karl seems to trust him enough to force Quackity to leave him alone. That ended well. Karl’s hurt and bleeding and being an idiot - Karl was gonna be okay , no way Red would hurt him, Red was willing to throw everything away to make sure someone he hated didn’t die so there's no way he’d give anything less for a neutral party. Damn he owned Red a favor now-
“And you won’t owe me shit for it.” What was with people recently and not wanting his favors.
His mind flashed to an overly tall child, frustrating as hell-- just accept his favor damn it.
“You don’t owe me shit. ” His favors weren’t shit , there were people who’d maim each other to get on his good side, to get him to owe them, what was with these overly tall fuckers, it was just—
He doesn't have the time.
He could worry about stupid boys in red who couldn’t take favors later, right now he needed to call in a few more of them.
