Summary
What happened between 1.13 and 2.1? How did Alec and Magnus develop their relationship between the seasons? This is how I imagine it went.
From chapter nine:
"I want you to be happy, too. I really care about you, too, Magnus. I may not know how to say or do the right things, but I'm going to try. Can you be patient with me?" Alec turned his head to search Magnus' face for his answer.Magnus met Alec's eyes, those gorgeous hazel eyes that never failed to make him emotional. "As long as you're patient with me, too. I may be an old man, but that doesn't mean I'm an expert on these things." Alec smiled sheepishly and nodded before nuzzling into Magnus' shoulder, pressing soft kisses into his skin. The little hot puffs of breath on his neck and the pressure of Alec's body against his own had Magnus' heart palpitating. This is what he had been fighting for for so long, and it was finally his. Finally. Alec in his arms, affectionate and loving, snuggling into his body for a night of sleep together. Tears started to prick at the corners of Magnus' eyes, and he had to bite his tongue to keep them at bay. "Sleep well, Alexander."
