She has never been a good cook, relying on frozen food and takeaways whenever it is her turn to prepare meals – unlike Mike, who adores cooking despite his limited skillset. Anyway, ever since she met the ghosts of Button House, Alison must admit that cooking is more fun with the ghosts popping in to keep her company, and with the Captain’s time management and Pat and Mary’s cooking advice, there has been a noticeable improvement to Alison’s skills.
So when Mike stares incredulously at the roast dinner Alison sets upon the table, Alison gives her husband a cheeky wink, and offers the ghosts a grin.
