It had been decided.
God Ye Xiu’s birthday was approaching fast and his fans had collectively decided to celebrate it like no other fans ever had. They had once already lost their god, so they were eager to make sure to create as many happy memories with him as they could.
The fans had agreed to celebrate Ye Xiu’s birthday with posting congratulatory messages to his weibo and making the hashtag #YXLordofBattles go as viral and trending as possible.
When the D-day finally arrived, as the fans had planned, Ye Xiu’s weibo page was getting bombarded with posts congratulating him on his birthday. As expected, the hashtag #YXLordofBattles was rising fast in the trending tags and soon became the number one.
However, unexpectedly there was suddenly another tag that soared past many other tags and started threatening the number one spot of the Ye Xiu fanclub tag. At first, the fanclub got worried, as it seemed that someone had spoiled their plan of making Ye Xiu trend at number one on his birthday.
But their worries were soon proven to be wrong. When they read the tag and realised its meaning, they all exclaimed in surprise. How was it possible that this tag was also about Ye Xiu.
#lovingYXwithlyrics
It turned out that one of the fans (apparently not a fanclub member though) had taken the congratulation message a step further and used song lyrics to profess their love towards their God Ye Xiu.

At first the posts were full of heart-eye love songs, full of secret feelings towards their God. But as more posts started getting posted, the tone in them started shifting towards the crazier side.
Some fans decided it was the perfect time to go loose a little bit and show their lust towards the great God of Glory. After the first few posts, which were quite mild compared to what was to come, things blew up on a different scale.
From there on, the #lovingYXwithlyrics hashtag soared high, making it easily pass many of the other tags that were trending in the top 10 that day. The two tags of Ye Xiu’s birthday were standing at the top 10 for the rest of the week, with many people joining the same train even days later.

Close to the end of Ye Xiu’s birthday, unexpectedly some verified accounts joined the fans. Somehow fans were not surprised to see Su Mucheng posting, but many were shocked when Qiao Yifan and even Tang Rou joined the tag game.
In fact, all of Happy joined the game.

However, the biggest happiness fans received just a couple minutes before the clock turned 12am and the day changed.
The fans went crazy. They had made it. Not only had Ye Xiu’s fans managed to boost their God - they had also been noticed by their God and he had even thanked them.
This was a very spectacular event. No such thing happened, even if many fans tried something similar, and this was an event that would be talked about years later.
Holy Cow, Ye Xiu really is the God of Battles?
