☆Nezuko POV☆
When I was about to leave the house and head to the village at the foot of the mountain to sell coal and collect money to buy medicine for my big brother, I suddenly heard Takeo, my little brother, asking me to take him with me. My mother though, wouldn't let him, because she didn't want him to also get sick because of the cold weather.
Then she also tried to convince me to not go, but I had already set my mind on getting money to help my brother, because he would also do the same if one of us got sick.
As I reached the village, I saw an old lady calling my name to go to her. As I got there, she told me that she had had an argument with a neighbour of hers because he broke her pot.
As I went there to investigate, I caught the smell of a cat on the pot, and told her that the man was innocent. She then grew mad, and got inside her house.

Time skip because why not. :')
Aahhhh. I had finally sold all the remaining coal and started heading home. I noticed that it was pretty late and didn't want to upset my family so I tried to be as quick ad I could.
Then I heard a familiar voice calling my name.
It was old-man Saburo(if I remember correct).
As I walked up to him, he offered me to stay and his house for the night, since man-eating demons seemed to appear at night. I didn't really believe in demons, but since he seemed so eager on keeping me from travelling alone at night, I decided to accept his offer and stayed the night.
When morning time finally arrived, I thought that it was finally time for me to go home. I said goodbye to him and went my way.
When I was close to my house, I sensed a slight smell of blood and as I kept getting closer it started getting thicker and thicker.
When I finally got there, I couldn't believe my eyes....
There was blood everywhere..As I got closer to get a better look, I saw my little brother laying on the ground covered in blood...his blood.....he looked like he was running away from something...
Then I spotted another familiar person....My little sister Hanako hugging our brother Shigeru...both covered in blood...
Then I saw mother.....She was half eaten? I could not exactly say as it was too dark in the room to see...
Then I started looking for big-brother.I went to his room but he was nowhere to be found...I was completely scared, and even dared to think that he was dead...Eaten alive as someone was killing our family....
I then walked outside to get some fresh air to cool off, but spotted an unfamiliar person heading my way.
"Oi, miss are you alright?" he asked me
"Yes I'm perfectly fine but...my family...they're gone"I said as I started tearing up once again.
"I am deeply sorry miss for not arriving earlier."he started."You see..I am a demon slayer and as you can see, I have failed to get to your family's aid when it was needed." he continued.
A demon slayer?So old-man Saburo was right after all....demons did exist...and I found out about it the worst way possible...
"Ahh...it's quite alright..you don't have to blame yourself for my family's death. Maybe, if you had gotten sooner, you could have died yourself. Maybe it was an undefeatable demon" I said, as I tried to also convince myself at the same time..
"No miss.It was all my fault. Please let me repay you somehow." he said.
For a moment I thought about it and then I got the perfect Idea.
"Hmmm...how about you teach me how to kill demons? Please it's the only thing I could do since my own family died from one....please..."L pleaded.
"Alright..I Tomioka Giyuu, the Water Hashira, accept you to be my successor."he said.
"Successor?"
"Yes.I will teach you water breathing, and then you could also be the next Water Hashira in my place when I retire."
With that, I was left speechless.
" May I have your name?"
"A-ah yes, forgive me for my rude behaviour. My name I Kamado Nezuko." I introduced myself.
"Alright then Kamado Nezuko I accept you as my successor."
And with that, we started heading to his house, where he said he would train me and teach me water breathing.

Hey guys! I am once back again with a brand new story! I know I said that I would come back with a new chapter of 'Just us against the world', but as I said on the notes on the top, I could not keep myself from starting this one.😅 Next up I promise I will continue the other one. Next part will include tanjiro's POV.
