“Craig! Mom and dad want to know when they're going to meet their future son in law!”
Kyle waited for Craig to say something, but when he looked up at him, he was looking away from both of them, eyes unseeing. He took over, tugging on the sleeve again. “What's this about dinner?”
She clapped her hands together. “So glad you asked, mom and dad want to have dinner to meet your boyfriend. They didn't give a date, but from how mom was acting, she's hoping soon. Real soon.”
That had Craig's undivided attention. “You told them?”
Tricia scoffed. “Please.”
He glared at her.
She threw her hands up in the air. “Fine, they asked about you and I said you were getting along well in life— great job, great house, great boyfriend—I didn't even tell them about the accident.“
