Work Text:
Buck was tidying up the kitchen, listening to a playlist on Spotify with a happy grin on his face. He was alone, Chris was at school and Eddie was at work covering a shift for a colleague who called in sick.
Their place, usually full of voices and laughter, was quiet and silent so he filled it with good music.
They were living together at Eddie’s house for four months now, everyone knew that they were a couple and sometimes they invited their friends over for brunch or dinner when they were off shift.
That day was Chimney, Maddie and Jee-Yun's turn so Buck wanted to impress them with his cooking skills.
He was starving so he opened the cabinets to pick something tasty to eat and looking into one of them he noticed that they were running out of flour and eggs, so he panicked and stopped everything he was doing to take his phone and ring his fiancé.
"Hey babe", he greeted him happily. "You know I want to cook Cap's apple pie for tonight but I’ve just noticed that we have no more flour and eggs and I forgot to write them on the shopping list. Can you buy them when you stop at the supermarket for groceries?", he asked, biting his bottom lip as he heard Eddie's breath.
"Hola mi amor", he said and Buck smiled, Eddie speaking spanish was one of his favourite things in the world. "Of course but send me a text, my shift ends in three hours and you know that I forget stuff easily."
"Yeah, you're my favourite forgetful", he teased, earning a soft laugh from Eddie. "Are you okay? How is the shift going?"
"I'm fine, just a little tired because my future husband was really sexy tonight and he stole me some sleep hours", he smirked, making Buck blush. "By the way, I can't answer the other question because you turn me into a superstitious guy so I don't want to roll the dice."
Buck chuckled, leaning on the counter as his heart did cartwheels in his chest.
He was so gone over that incredible man with those stunning hazel eyes, over the man who changed his life so deeply just being himself.
“Blame yourself, it’s not my fault if you are so damn hot babe”, he replied, giggling. He could imagine Eddie’s cheeks turning red as a tomato. “Anyway, our place is so perfectly tidy it seems to come out of an IKEA’s catalogue but I’m exhausted… remember me why we decided to invite our future wedding witnesses for dinner and mostly why I have decided to cook for an army instead of ordering a pizza.”
It was Eddie’s turn to laugh. He shook his head, smiling so wide that it reached his eyes.
“Because you are a kind-hearted guy and you like to coddle our guests, especially when it comes to your sister, your little niece and your brother in law”, he cheered kindly. “Plus, you enjoyed cooking and last but not least, they are going to babysit Chris next weekend so we can have our romantic getaway in Laguna Beach… they deserve a tasty dinner.”
“That’s why I love you, Eds.” Buck grinned warmly. “You always say what I need to hear, so thank you. I’m going to give you an extra slice of apple pie.”
Eddie laughed again. “I’m honored, amor.”
The sound of the alarm bell interrupted their conversation, Eddie greeted him fastly and then hung up the phone, ready to save people.

"Hola amor", Eddie shouted, closing the door with his foot as he carried three shopping bags. "I'm home!", he said, heading to the kitchen, finding Buck with a grin on his face and a kitchen apron around his waist.
"Hi babe", he greeted him happily. "Everything is ready, let's unpack the groceries and then I'm going to make the apple pie", he commanded, a little bossy as he reached for Eddie, who freezed hearing the last part of Buck's statement.
Buck kissed him softly. "I missed you, Eds", he murmured against his lips, unaware of Eddie's growing tension.
Eddie pretended to be quiet as he helped Buck unpacking the shopping bags but he held his breath when Buck stopped, watching all the groceries scattered on their table with a confused look.
"Eddie", he murmured, glancing at him. "Tell me you didn't forget to buy…"
"I'm sorry", he confessed hastily. "I was in a hurry and I checked the shopping list only, I know I asked you to send me a text but…"
"God, you have such a bad memory!", he scolded, shaking his head. "We spoke three hours ago, Eds. Three hours, not three weeks! How am I supposed to bake an apple pie without flour and eggs? Our guests will not eat a dessert tonight, 'cause I have a hopelessly forgetful fiancé!"
Buck was mad but Eddie thought there was something comical in that situation, they always bickered when it came to groceries because Buck had a thing with whole foods while Eddie was a good eater so he liked to cheer himself up with chips, chocolate bars and Ben & Jerry's ice-cream.
So they were used to all of that but that time was a little different, Eddie knew that Buck was really upset especially because he wanted the dinner to be perfect.
"I can make it up to you, I'm going to buy a tasty cake from our favourite pastry shop so our guests are going to eat a dessert and I'm going to see your gorgeous smile again", he suggested with a grin, winking at Buck with his best convincing gaze. "Deal?", he asked, reaching for his hand.
"Get out of here, forgetful!", he exclaimed jokingly, shaking his head as he glanced at him, a resigned expression on his face.
He turned his back to Eddie as he finished setting up the groceries into the cabinets but suddenly Eddie's scent was closer and his hands were on his stomach.
"I know you're mad at me", Eddie murmured in his ear, hugging him from behind with a firm but soft grip around his waist. "But will a kiss change your mind?", he smirked, placing soft kisses on Buck's neck and jaw.
"No way", Buck managed to say, pretending that Eddie's hands or lips had no effect on him, pretending that he didn't want to turn around and make love with his future husband right there on the kitchen table.
"Mh, so are you saying that all of this leaves you indifferent?", he mumbled mockingly, caressing his sculpted abs with his fingertips. "Are you saying that my hands and my mouth are not driving you crazy, mi amor?" he breathed on his skin, knowing that Buck definitely had a thing with him speaking spanish.
He kissed his jaw tenderly, biting his neck as he held him tighter.
Buck gasped for air, the atmosphere in the kitchen was suddenly hotter than ever.
He could feel every inch of Eddie's strong body against his back, he could feel his own heart burst in his chest and his own legs became jelly.
"I know you just want to give me a hard time but I also know that you are craving for a kiss because you love when I whisper in your ears while I kiss you on the neck, you love when I speak Spanish, you love when I'm so close to you and I breath on your skin, making you shiver", he murmured, using his sexiest voice as his hands reached the waistband of Buck's sweatpants. "You are so hot when you wear an apron", he added eagerly, biting his lobe before sucking it as he untied Buck's apron. "Well, you are always so damn sexy but you are hot as hell right now, with that cute pout on your face, while you're pretending to be mad at me."
Buck bit his bottom lip, forcing himself to stay still even if Eddie's hands were burning on his skin and he was driving him crazy, sending jolts all over his body.
When Eddie licked his extremely sensitive skin under his ear, he lost all his self control and he spinned himself hastily, facing his fiancé who was looking at him with wide eyes and a smirk on his face.
"Kiss me Eds", he groaned, clutching his shirt to tugging him closer. "Now."
Eddie smirked but he didn't move, he just glanced at Buck, drowning in his ocean eyes.
"Uh, are you saying that a kiss will change your mind?", he asked slyly, tracing his lips with his index finger. "Interesting!"
Buck was impatient, he leaned forward to kiss him but Eddie shifted, making him pout.
"Don't be a jerk, Eddie Diaz", he scolded, making a second and futile attempt.
"Ask me again, babe", Eddie murmured, brushing his lips against Buck's. "What do you want?"
"Kiss me. I just want you to kiss me, now."
Eddie didn't wait for him to repeat again, he collided their lips together, cupping Buck's cheeks as he licked his way into Buck's mouth, deepening the kiss.
Buck moaned and anchored his hands on his back as he reversed their positions, tangling his fingers in Eddie's soft hair as they kissed like their own lives depended on that kiss.
Eddie always kissed him in a way that made his heart flutter in his chest and he couldn't get over all his strong feelings for that incredible man he was going to call his husband in a few months, forever.
"You are an idiot but I love you so much", Buck breathed in his mouth before he bit Eddie's bottom lip, sucking it.
"I love you too and I know a great way to make it up to you, apparently it's the most effective way to make peace", he suggested, grabbing the hem of his shirt to take it off, touching his warm skin as Buck unzipped his jeans swiftly.
"Wonderful idea", he laughed, walking backwards tugging Eddie with him until he bumped into the kitchen table.
"I thought that we were in a hurry", he joked, glancing at the clock on the wall. "And I thought that we were supposed to use this table to make dinner, not to make love."
"Blame yourself, you are too sexy and I can't stop thinking I want to make love with you right here and right now so please can you stop talking so you can use that amazing mouth of yours to do something more productive?", he asked mockingly, smirking as Eddie's smiled softly, before kissing him dirty as their bodies merged into one.
"Evan", Eddie panted on his lips, thrusting more deeply into Buck, making him scream his name. "I have to forget stuff more often if it leads us to make out like lovesick teenagers on our brand new kitchen table."
Buck smiled, arching his back as he moaned again, meeting Eddie's thrusts.
"You don't need stupid tricks to win me over and most of all we don't need excuses to ending up like this… you know that and I know that this is not gonna change once we are going to be a married couple."
"Definitely this is not gonna change, you will be even sexier with a wedding ring around your finger", he murmured, colliding their lips together again and again, shivering when Buck glanced at him with his stunning eyes, clouded with love and lust.
"I will be the luckiest man on earth when I'll be yours forever, Eds."
"That word scared the hell out of me due to what happened in my past but then I met you and everything changed. Forever doesn’t scare me anymore", he mumbled, cupping his cheeks gently. “You are my future, Evan.”
"And you're mine."
