Summary
The truth comes out-- Jaune Arc cheated his way into Beacon, and has unceremoniously been expelled. While neither school nor the city of Vale has been kind to him, he finds sanctuary in the form of a far-flung cafe on the edges of the city, Le Chat Noir, headed by the stern and sarcastic Felix DeLeone, who stands in as a trainer as well as a boss. At his kindness, Jaune is given a job, and thanks to Ruby, a place to stay. However as the true past of the inwardly kind barista comes out, Jaune finds himself wrapped in the underground world of thieves and pickpockets. With mob bosses in bowler hats, killer midgets, and psychotic, diabolical warlords to contend with, along with striving for the perfect cup of coffee, will he survive to prove his worth?
