She was sleeping right beside him, in his bed. ‘She looks so peaceful’ he thought, brushing his fingers through her hair.
Emma had begged Draken to go to Shibuya so she could do some shopping. He finally agreed and took her to the mall there. But where they were in a store Emma started feeling dizzy, so Draken took her to his place, where she fell asleep immediately.
Draken had been staring at her the whole time. He really liked her but made sure that no one knew, especially Emma.
He had come to terms with the fact that he liked her a while ago. It had been a normal day, with Emma clinging onto him the whole time. But he found that he really enjoyed her company, even though sometimes he found it annoying. Draken thought that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her face was so perfect, he wanted to leave kisses all over it. Her neck was so long and on all-time display, begging to be touched by his lips. Draken caught himself thinking about these things until he realized he really, really liked her.
But the moment he realized he loved Emma was when he was waiting for her down the street of her house. He had been waiting for so long and was ready to give her a scolding when she arrived. But the moment Draken saw her, he forgot everything. Emma was running towards him with her long ponytail swinging and her bag almost falling off her shoulder.
“I’m so sorry I’m late, Mikey made me do his laundry, it’s his fault,” she said barely breathing from the running. Draken looked into her eyes and saw his future with her. He wanted to marry her. He wanted to fulfill her wish of being a bride, his bride.
“It’s okay, don’t worry,” he brushed it off and they went on with that day. The whole day he couldn’t take his eyes off off Emma, eyes filled with love.
Now, he was staring at her with the same eyes. She had moved a bit in her sleep and to make her more comfortable he put her head in his lap. Caressing her hair and patting her back with the same gentle motion. He was so lost in his dreaming, he almost didn’t notice her waking up.
“Hey, how are you now?” he asked, only stopping what he was doing when she raised her head.
“Better,” she said, still a little sloppy. When she registered where her head was laying, a blush took over her face. She was going to move but his hand cupped her face and looked into her eyes.
“You can stay here tonight if you want,” Draken said, hoping she wouldn’t say no.
Emma froze. Was this real or just another of her fantasies? She was really doubting it but the warm hand on her face brought her back to earth.
“Yeah, sure, why not,” she said, still mesmerized from the moment.
When she lowered her head again in his lap she started playing with her hair again. Maybe it was time she learned about his true feelings.
