Mirror Mirror on the wall,
Nothing but you alone hanging in this grand hall.
Mirror Mirror looking back
Say to me all the things I lack
Tell it like it is, forgo any thought of tact.
Peering into you is to seek the worst within me.
Animosity I have none, it is just meant to be.
You say there is comeliness I have amiss?
Why is it always beauty in one’s eyes as the source of bliss?
Mirror, Mirror why can’t you see
What your reflection does to me?
Mirror, Mirror no one wants your company.
What you say is no epiphany,
Just this relentless unflattering image of me.
Still seeing this emptiness when all alone.
To me this is all you’ve shone.
Mirror Mirror on the wall,
Nothing but you alone hanging in this grand hall.
