“You ready?” Ukyo turned to Yo.
The two of them were about the broad the ship from America to where the others were…. Or more importantly, at least to Yo, was where his boyfriend was. Yo ran his hand over his empty gun holster.
“Yeah! Duh,” Yo acted like it was no big deal.
“Hmhhh?” Ukyo raised an eyebrow. “If you say so,” Ukyo shrugged.
They both boarded the ship. It was huge just for the two of them but it wasn’t like they didn’t bring along important cargo. And this time it wasn’t him….. But that was beside the point!
Besides the corn he and Ukyo were bringing on, Ukyo was keeping the medusa on a necklace to keep by him. It was strange to think about all the conflicts that had started and ended because of it. Yo still had the scars on his chest. He really didn’t like thinking about them though.
“So how long do you think it’ll take?” Yo asked.
“Well Broddy said this was the fastest ship he had so maybe a week or two,” Ukyo shrugged.
“Sweet!” Yo hollered.
Ukyo flipped a few switches and pulled the lever down and suddenly the ship started to race forward, and the two were off to go meet up with their friends in Australia. Yo and Ukyo regained their footing and looked out at the vast sea ahead.
“Ok maybe a few days,” Ukyo awkwardly laughed.
“Hey the quicker the better,” Yo pointed out.
“Agreed,” Ukyo clutched the medusa in his hand.

Yo stood on the upper deck looking for land. By Ukyo’s calculations, they were going to jit Australia any second and Yo wanted to be first to see it. The wind blew his hair back but that wasn’t going to stop Yo. Suddenly land came into view and a smaller craft.
“Ukyo!” Yo called.
“What?” Ukyo called back.
“I see land,” Yo shouted.
“And on schedule too!”
Yo put his hands up and his leg up on the railing to catch the breeze as they moved. “Woooooooooooooooo!” He cried out.
The ship docked by some rocks with Yo in the same position. Looking down on the others below him. Ukyo anchored the ship and got the ramp out. Yo picked up a basket of corn to bring down with him.
“Woohoo!” Yo shouted, basically skipping down the ramp.
“Anyone need a corn delivery from corn city in the states?” Ukyo followed Yo down.
“Whaaa?!!” Chrome sounded.
“Having some corn would be nice actually,” Senkuu grinned.
“You aren’t even surprised they’re here..,” Kaskei trailed off.
“Why would I be? They have something to drop off,” Senkuu shrugged off the old man’s remark. “But later,”
Francois took the corn from the two. “Thank you, Master Ukyo, Master Yo,” The servant slightly bowed. “I think I have the perfect dish to prepare,”
“Ahh let me help,” Ukyo offered.
“Sure, Thank you master Ukyo,” The two walked to the small camp they set up.
“And Ryusui?” Yo asked Senkuu.
“Yo!?” A voice shouted.
Senkuu moved out of the way and went back with Kaskei And Chrome. Yo saw the familiar blonde, captain’s hat and all, smiling at him.
“Who else?” Yo snickered. “Do you know another-,” Before Yo could finish Ryusui got him in a hug.
The taller male had his arms around Yo and Yo was happy to return to affection. It still almost felt like a dream.
“What are you doing here?” Ryusui asked, pulling away from the hug.
“I came with Ukyo to drop off the medusa,” Yo replied. “What? Do you think I came here to see you?” Yo teased “As if,” He crossed his arms.
“You know Ukyo could’ve got alone. He’s pretty capable of doing so,” Ryusui playfully raised an eyebrow.
“Hey, I’m the bodyguard. It’s just in case,” Yo corrected.
“Whatever you say,” Ryusui rolled his eyes. “Just glad you’re ok,” Oh, that was right.. Yo almost forgot about everything for a second. “Yo?”
“Ahhh sorry,” Yo snapped out of it. “I just spaced out for a second,”
“Are you okay?” Ryusui softly asked.
“Yeah I’m fine,” Yo brushed off. “Just glad to see everyone that’s all,”
Ryusui hummed a bit. “How about we go look around?”
“Huh?” Yo asked a bit confused about the sudden topic change.
“I mean we’re all just here so why not look around. It’s a new place after all,” Ryusui explained.
“That actually sounds nice. After a while America looked like just a cornfield,” Yo joked.
“Ohh did it?” Ryusui questions, as the two begin to walk.
“Yeah! My job was picking corn. Can you believe that?! Me?” Yo motioned to himself. “Of course me and Magma would always try to get the most corn in one day,”
“Ohh? Who’d win?”
“Nikki-,” Yo admitted. “We both just ended up fighting after so long.
“Pftt,” Ryusui tried to hold in his laugh.
“Hey, he was asking for it!” Yo interjected.
“I bet,” Ryusui still tried to keep from laughing at his boyfriend’s antics.
“Oh and Nikki and Minami kept acting so lovey-dovey. SO were Taiju and Yuzuirha when Taiju got back!” Yo whined. “And they aren’t even dating?!”
“You sure you weren’t just jealous Yo?” Ryusui teased.
“No,” Yo huffed
Yeah.
“Whatever you say handsome,” Ryusui replied.
“Ok now you’re just teasing me,” Yo grinned.
“What makes you say that?” Ryusui ingeniously asked.
“Tch Jerk,” Yo elbowed Ryusui.
“Just say you missed me,” Ryusui hit back.
“Whattttt~ The thought of missing you never crossed my mind,” Yo playfully lied.
“Sure it didn’t,” Ryusui took Yo’s hand.
“Maybe a little,” Yo rolled his eyes. “Since you keep asking,”
“I mean I didn’t say anything,” Ryusui grinned.
“I hate you,” Yo stated.
“You love me,” Ryusui refuted.
The two walked like that for a bit longer. Just catching up on everything that happened and their friend’s antics. It was all light-hearted but of course, they both danced around the whole “being shot thing”, but it had to be brought up at some point.
“For a second there I thought that Broody guy was actually a decent guy. Hah! Was I wrong,” Yo joked.
“Ohh what did he do?” Ryusui asked, still feeling light-hearted.
“Oh well- He was kind of the guy who ordered the other American’s to shoot at us,” Yo explained, trying to not make it a big deal.
“You were shot at?!” It didn’t work.
“Ohh well yeah… all of us were shot. So much so we all joked we were donuts,” Yo tried to joke.
Ryusui sighed. “You know what’s funny?”
“What?”
“I guess you weren’t the only one,” Ryusui sadly smiled.
“You too huh?”
“Yeah, Xeno’s damn lapdog,” Ryusui scoffed.
“He went that far?! Just to follow That chihuahua?”
“Apparently so,” Ryusui groaned. “But he’s still petrified and I got a few good punches in when no one was looking,”
“Niceee,” Yo replied.
“I didn’t break it but he may have a few new petrification scars,” Ryusui put.
“Now I wish I could see that,” Yo stated. “Maybe next time you guys go to South America, I’ll get a few hits in too,”
“Sounds nice,” Ryusui smiled at Yo. “But right now I’m just glad you’re safe,”
“Me too,” Yo smiled.
Ryusui brushed back some of Yo’s orange hair with his fingers. “God I missed you,”
“I missed you too,” Yo looked up at Ryusui.
Ryusui leaned down and kissed his boyfriend.
Both were glad they were with each other again.
