    Hello, and welcome to the Tales of Avalon introduction chapter! This is my first time writing a story from this style of setting, my first time writing a story of this depth and magnitude, and my first time writing and publishing a story on a site like this! I hope you will enjoy this series, I’m very passionate about stories like this one and after reading several like it I was inspired to throw my own hat into the ring and create my own!

    This chapter is designed to explain the basics of the premise, characters, technology, and other things that will be going on in this story and will allow first-time readers to decide on whether or not they want to plunge into what is sure to be a long series of chapters, or just have a means to relearn the setting should they put the reading on hiatus for a while. I know there are some fanfics out there that I would have appreciated a chapter like this for, if for nothing else than going back and referring to it to refresh my memory on certain things.
