“Anyway,” Olive said, trying to hold in a laugh. “Holden says that if you need toilet paper, or you think you’ll need toilet paper in the next two weeks, that you should hit the store soon. He said people are already panic buying like it’s the first ten minutes of a zombie apocalypse movie.”
She held her phone up to Adam, who studied the text from his best friend and accompanying photo of empty shelves where toilet paper usually would be. His brow furrowed, like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
“Apocalyptic indeed. We’ll go tonight. If the end times are here, I expect you’ll want to load up on snacks.”
