Chapter Text
There are cookies in this crumbling world who don't understand there's more to machines than just battle purposes.
I for one say they are sentient and can feel things like any other cookie or cake can.
There are cookies who say that Wafflebots do not have souls, and do not live like us.
Foolish.
Those cookies will be the downfall of their land.
Machines have free mind, not free will,
That does not mean robots are junk that is to rust and decay.
For responding hearts with pulses of joy,
they are my family, friends, and not a cheap toy
even on a battery's say.
Why else should I carefully paint each bleeding stroke onto the metal?
Why must every single line of script be rendered and debugged?
When it is all done, electricity roars deep in the night.
What was once cold
filled with warmth and ventilation
when all turns out right,
I feel so loved.
