Hi! some ideas about this:
Xiao is the crown prince of a small kingdom. The kingdom was for years subjected to invasion for having a strategic position of geography conectivity. But in the last decades have grown del military forces and defences, becoming an impenetrable kingdom. So Xiao has trained his entire life to assume leadership that ensures the well-being of his people, maintain diplomatic relations between nations and being strong enough to not be conquered by any other nation.
Being the heir prince means Xiao have to attend all the royal meetings between nations. It's something that exhausts him a lot, dealing with people who appear to be friendly but hide their real intentions. He knows how to deal with them, he has prepared for it, but every time he can he prefers to escape to take a breath
This is how, walking through the palace gardens and guided by the melody, he reaches Venti, the first person with whom he does not know how to deal.
Venti is the prince of the largest and most powerful empire, but he has always fled from his duties, leaving them to his twin brother, who is more interested in the matter and assume leadership. Instead Venti prefers to escape to the town, the hills or the forest, play popular music, get close to animals or rest in the grass. He earned the scorn of the aristocracy but the closeness of the townspeople
