Kaeya sat down on a bench near a playground to catch his breath for a moment.
“I can’t believe I did that!” Kaeya cringed, remembering what happened a few minutes before.
He wanted to slap himself, he couldn’t believe he fell asleep in class...in front of Albedo. His crush. Is it really that big of a deal? Not really, but is Kaeya dramatic? Oh, absolutely.
Shit, did I look good? Was I drooling?! Kaeya wiped his mouth, pulling out his phone to check if he still looked good.
The sun was beginning to set, the orange light hitting Kaeya's skin. It was the perfect opportunity to take a quick selfie for his social media. The boy chose a filter and was about to take a picture when he noticed somethi...no, someone behind him.
It was a little girl...playing with fire?!
"Lets see if we can make this place boom! Right, Dodoco?" The girl asked her stuffed plushie as she continued to make the fire bigger and bigger.
Kaeya widened his eyes and quickly ran towards the girl, picking her up in his arms. The girl looked around to be six, maybe seven?
The girl crossed her arms, glaring at the blue haired male, “Hey! Klee and Dodoco knew what we were doing, put us down or I’ll tell my brother!” She threatens.
Klee? Was that her name? Kaeya placed the little girl back down, examining if there were any burnt injuries from her playing.
“Don’t play with fire, it's dangerous, you know. What if you got hurt or burnt the place down?” Kaeya gently scolded.
Klee looked around the playground before grinning mischievously, as she scratched the back of her head, “It wouldn’t be the first time Klee did that.”
“What?!”

Thankfully, Kaeya somehow convinced Klee to not play with fire any longer saying that if she were to play it again, 'Klee would be doomed.'
While playing together, Klee came to know that Mr. Eyepatch man’s name was Kaeya. She’ll still call him Mr. Eyepatch man tho.
She noticed something familiar about the uniform her new friend was wearing. As if a light bulb appeared at the top of her head like those cartoons, she remembered where she's seen them!
Does Mr. Eyepatch man know Albedo gege?! She thought to herself.
She pulls Kaeya's sleeve, trying to get his attention.
“Mr. Eyepatch, you have the same uniform as my brother! Are you from Tevyat Academia too?” Klee asked as she pointed out the logo.
Kaeya tilted his head, confused, he then noticed the similar logos on his and her uniform.
"Ah, I see you're a student there too?" Kaeya nods, confirming that he's a student there.
"So...do you know my brother? He isn't really popular but he's really friendly and the best!" Klee then made a huge heart with her hands. "I love my brother thiiiiiiis much!"
Cute. Kaeya thought to himself.
Tevyat Academia was a big school, even just Kaeya’s grade, they were divided into seven classes.
“You have a brother? Maybe we’re in the same class.” Kaeya laughed, playing along with Klee.
Klee shrugged, “I don’t know, you can ask him now.”
Kaeya laughed before realizing what she meant, he turned around before falling to the ground clumsily. Albedo winced, watching the scene.
“Klee. And….Kaeya?” Albedo looked at his classmate with confusion.
Klee gasped, before pulling Kaeya up with all her strength.
For a little girl, she sure is strong Kaeya thought to himself.
“Oh, so Albedo gege does know you!” Klee exclaimed cheerfully.
“Haha...a small world isn’t it?” Kaeya could feel his ears turning red, he refused to look at Albedo. It was just too embarrassing!
The trio stood in silence, Klee probably didn’t realize it but the awkwardness between them was getting too much.
Kaeya cleared his throat before picking his things up and plucking a sweet flower off the ground.
“Well, since your brother is here, I’ll be heading off now.” Kaeya tucked the flower on the girl's ear before ruffling her hair.
He was gathering his things and preparing to bid goodbye until Klee pulls Kaeya’s hand.
“No! But we haven’t played enough!” Klee whined as she continued tugging on Kaeya’s sleeves.
Albedo walked over to the two, “Klee, how about we invite Kaeya to play at our place tomorrow?”
What.
“Why tomorrow?” Klee asked her brother.
“Because Kaeya needs to ask his family first.” Albedo replied.
“Oh, like how Klee has to ask mommy or gege before I go play?”
“Exactly. You’re so smart, Klee.” Albedo ruffled his sister’s hair as she giggled.
While the two were having an adorable conversation they forgot Kaeya was there.
Kaeya just stood there in shock as he tried to process what Albedo was saying. Invite him over?! Is today the day he will die because this feels like a dream! Oh Barbatos, I never wanna wake up from this dream!
Albedo then picks up Klee, “Well, Klee wants you to visit our place tomorrow, are you free then?” He asks with a warm smile on his face.
The bluenette felt like he’s going to melt, he’s so in love it’s disgusting.
“Y-yeah yeah, I’m free tomorrow haha.” Kaeya laughed.
Albedo nods, “Very well. I’ll speak to my aunt about this.”
“Say bye, Klee.” Albedo told his sister.
Klee waved at Kaeya, “Bye-bye Mr. Eyepatch man! Don’t forget tomorrow!”
Kaeya laughed nervously, of course, he wouldn't, his crush just invited him to his house- well technically his sister but that's beside the point! Kaeya Alberich who has been in love with Albedo since Archons know when, is going to visit his place tomorrrow?!
Tomorrow?!
“Okay, let’s go Klee, See you tomorrow Kaeya.” Albedo gave the bluenette a small smile before turning in the opposite direction.
“Yeah, see you.” Kaeya waved awkwardly at Albedo.
"Klee, you shouldn't call Kaeya Mr. Eyepatch man, that isn't polite." Kaeya could still hear Albedo's voice in the distance scolding his sister.
The tall male can hear their voice slowly fading away. Kaeya walked away from them back to the bench he originally sat on.
“I can’t believe I did that!” Kaeya cringed, remembering how he waved bye at Albedo.
