"Hey guys, do you want to go back to that little Ramen restaurant Koda discovered after class today?" Kaminari asked his friends during a break. "Oh, that's a very good idea," Ashido agreed, and the other students agreed with the suggestion, too.
Therefore, when Ectoplasm dismissed them for the weekend after math class, they all met in front of the school building to go eat together.
Koda had discovered the small ramen restaurant by chance about two weeks ago when he had been bringing food to stray animals. It was somewhat hidden in a small side street, so it was not so crowded. However, it was also very small. Only five people could sit at the counter, but the owner, Mr. Yamada, had placed a few small tables and chairs in front of his restaurant so that customers could sit and enjoy their Ramen there as well.
Mr. Yamada was a tall, slender man with long golden blond hair that he always had braided into a pigtail. He wore glasses and always had a friendly smile on his lips. The children had immediately taken him into their hearts.
"I'll have the Ramen with beef and shiitake mushrooms again," Kirishima rejoiced. "It tasted so good last time. What will you have, Bakugo?" But the ash-blond teenager only gave a growl in reply.
"I'm sure Kacchan will have the Miso-Ramen with egg and chicken again," Midoriya quipped. "He practically inhaled it last time."
"Shut up you stupid nerd," Bakugo snapped at the green-haired boy, setting off a small explosion in his right hand, causing Midoriya to take cover behind Shoji. Everyone laughed and didn't let the good bower be spoiled, and when the restaurant came into view, the students ran towards it joyfully. Tenya was the first, greeting a surprised restaurant owner. When the other students arrived, Mr. Yamada smiled kindly and said, "How nice to see you all again. You can give me your orders right now. I just have to prepare the beef for a moment."
The students of 1-A obediently lined up and each told Mr. Yamada their requests, which he neatly wrote down so he wouldn't mix up or forget anything.
"With so many orders, it will take a little time. Please take a seat outside while you're waiting."
The students spread out across the tables in front of the restaurant, chatting animatedly about the school day. Yaoyorozu and Asui were talking about training with Sensei Aizawa and Ojiro was chatting with Sero about Sensei Kayama's style of dress when Mr. Yamada brought the first Ramen to them. One by one, the tables filled with bowls that corresponded to the students' personal preferences. A general slurping and smacking ensued.
"Ahhhh, this is sooooooo good," Ashido exclaimed happily.
"Yes, we should come here much more often," Hagakure agreed with her.
Bakuro, Todoroki, and Midoriya seemed to be having an unspoken competition to see who could eat the fastest. Unfortunately, Midoriya choked in the process, which made Bakugo laugh and gave Todoroki the victory. Everyone had a good time and they enjoyed being together.
After the meal and after they all paid Mr. Yamada, they said goodbye to each other and went home to their families.
"Until next time, Mr. Yamada," Uraraka called out, waving goodbye to the blond man, who returned the friendly gesture and called out, "Have a good evening and a nice weekend."
When all the children had disappeared from his sight, Mr. Yamada said, "Some great students you have there, Shouta."
From the shadows beside the restaurant, Shouta Aizawa, the class teacher of 1-A, stepped out and snorted in annoyance.
"I really wish they hadn't discovered your restaurant."
"Oh, darling, don't fret," the blond quipped. "You can still come here and get your portion anytime. I'll always have something there for you, and if not, I'll cook for you at home." He winked at Shouta, who turned away in embarrassment.
"I don't know why you don't tell them anyway. We've been married for six years and you still keep it a secret."
"My private life is none of my students' business," Shouta snorted, annoyed. But when his husband tenderly put his arm around his waist and pressed a kiss to his lips, the black-haired man visibly relaxed.
"I'm sorry, Hizashi," he began sheepishly. "I just don't want any talk at school."
"No problem, darling, I'm not angry, even if it feels like our love makes you uncomfortable," the blond countered, pulling his man even closer to him in a gentle motion.
"But I know how you could convince me of your sincere love," he breathed tantalizingly into his ear, running his hand tenderly over the black-haired man's back. Shouta twisted his mouth into a teasing grin, pulled the blond to him in turn and whispered, "Close the store and I'll prove my love to you at home." Before Hizashi could say anything else, Shouta pressed his lips to the blond's and gave him a heartfelt kiss, which Hizashi immediately leaned into and returned. When they separated, the blond chuckled and pulled away from his husband's embrace.
"Give me thirty minutes and I'll be happy to follow you."
"But after that, you make me the best Ramen you've ever cooked," Shouta demanded cheekily.
"It depends on how you do afterwards.," the blond countered, teasingly sticking his tongue out at his husband. Shouta snorted, but didn't lose his smile and started clearing away the chairs and tables.
