    Harry was an Auror. As an Auror, he expected certain things to break, like his bones. That was normal, he had a demanding and intense job.

    One thing that he wasn't expecting to break was his wand.

    Needing a new wand, he goes to Ollivander's, as any intelligent wizard would do.

    Ordinary people don't go into shock when they see their ex-enemy working at Ollivander's. Ordinary people don't then fall in love with their old rivals.
