The last rays of sunset made a guiding glow. The light wind blew through the valley making the changing leaves russle quietly. As fall set in the weather made the fact more and more clear winter was upon them. But still the planet held on before the snowfall. Shades of red, orange, yellow, brown, and gold danced across the landscape moved by the wind. The mountains and fields surrounded by rivers and lakes acting as natural borders, protect their temple like home built upon one of the tall mountains.
Wrapped in a thick blanket like cape, a gift from one of his brothers, Wolffe stepped out onto their home's balcony from the warmth of the kitchen. Closing the door with his foot, as his hands were currently occupied by steaming cups of simple tea, blocking out the warm glow from the kitchen light. Letting the last rays of sunset guide him forward he padded forward to the cushy porch swing at the end of the balcony. As he came closer the outline of his beloved became more of a person than a shape. Plo tilted his head back to acknowledge his presence, letting Wolffe know his meditation had ended a while ago. Coming to a stop besides the swing passed Plo his cup of tea before less than graceful plopped down on the second cushion on the couch. Plo gracefully shared his blanket with him, dropping it across his knees. A piece of his breathing mask clicked open allowing him to drink his tea with a straw. They sat in silence, letting the peace of the night cover them in a loving hold.
Wolffe's hand drifted to his lover's stomach and gently caressed the rounded bump. Plo tilted his head to rest on his shoulder and sighed happily. Silence continued as they sat enjoying the nightfall cover the sky.
"Do you miss it?" he asked. Plo turned his head in question waiting for him to elaborate. "The noise. It's so quiet here, it's eerie sometimes." he explained. Plo shook his head, "No, I prefer it. Not sirens or alarms. No explosions or gunfire. And plus it's only quiet once the children are asleep. Why do ask?"
Wolffe just shrugged and took another sip of his drink. Leaning his head upon Plo's drank his drink and let the peacefulness swirl around them. "Don't remind me. I love our youngling dearly but sometimes the could whisper more. Especially with Ahsoka's up coming soon grandpa." he added in chuckling. Plo groaned, "Shaak is never going to let me live that down, is she? One time her daughter calls me papa and all the sudden I'm grandpa." he complained. Wolffe laughed and kissed his forehead, continuing to gently caress his baby bump. Together they sat and drank their tea. As night compete cover day thet sat enjoying the stars and moons. Wolffe leaned down and kissed his mask, "I love you, you know." Plo laughed and kissed him back, "I know my dear." he giggled. They sat quietly until Plo dozed off. Carring him to, stripped him for bed him. And kissed his baby bump before crawling him on his opposite side, content to sleep for the night.
