    Summary

Sequel to The Other Things, which explored the relationship development between Kuroko and Kagami, from one Winter Cup to another.

Then he brushes a big branch of a tree out of the way to uncover… a little spring? I think that’s what it is, though it's the size of a small pond, hidden slightly by the ground that rises uphill all around it. Trees are hanging their branches toward the spring in a way that seems almost artful, as if someone put it there, but it makes it the more pleasing to look at, to know that it must not have been the case. The silver and grey morning light shines on the water and plays in the leaves, and it makes me want to sigh the rest of my uncomfortable thoughts out.

I don’t know how to deal with the fact that I feel something this overwhelming for someone. I’ve never felt this… powerless with anyone, and god knows, I’ve never let myself even consider that feeling something like that could ever possibly be a good thing.

What I’m thinking about… the answer that I'm scared of... I can’t even conceptualise it ever being a good thing.
