She had pictured this exact image so many times. Malfoy bent between her knees as he kneeled before her office chair. Hermione sitting astride Malfoy’s face, bucking into him after a particularly snarky comment, shutting him up the best way she could. How that perfectly coiffed hair would end up tousled to his dismay, so they’d laugh about it later. But this picture was different. In her fantasies it’d always been that molten grey iron gaze. Not this blank, milky white stare.
