Chapter Text
There! With the help of Grimm’s child Pan, Ghost was able to put the piece of cloth over Hollow’s horns…..
Sort of.
It was a tangled mess
Their mending sibling from below, Monarch, insisted that Ghost and Pan take the cloth back to Dirtmouth. Something to do with how, as Lemm’s apprentice, they were being taught how to repair old items. While normally the old bug won’t part with any of his possessions…. He supposes that he can part with a scarf that was knitted in the time where Hollow was only known as the Pure Vessel.
Or at least that's what Ghost told them, whether or not Hollow believes the full story will be tested.
Pan was putting the final touches on a crude bow with difficulty due to not having separated his limbs yet. After he was satisfied he happily flapped and perched himself on Ghost’s head.
What do you think!?
The cloth was draped lazily between their horns, much like webs of an ungraceful Weaver. The bow the Child had just finished was starting to undo itself.
“You look ridiculous” Hornet finally entered the main living from an out
Ghost didn’t say anything, only puffed their chest out and put their arms away from their sides. Hollow just waved. Pan just continued to balance on top of Ghost’s head.
Hornet still held her head high, regal and elegant as one could be. Still, even she can’t resist the warmth that is being silly with her siblings.
So without saying anything else, she puffed out her cloak to make herself look bigger as if she was warding off The Hunter.
“Grimm wants his child back.”
Both the Child and Ghost whined, the only physical noise being from Pan. Still, despite not being able to listen to Voidspeak, the begging eyes from Ghost gave her a good indicator.
Still, Ghost and Pan both tried their best to convince Hornet for another sleepover. Hollow knows it will only fall on deaf ears, of course the little ones know that they can’t be together all the time due to their own various studies but they are at least going to try,
Hollow was about to get up to make lunch when Hornet shoved a piece of paper in their face.
“For you,” Hollow looked up at her in confusion, Hornet continued to shove the paper in their face, “He ran off before I asked why.”
