Summary
V1's always been too preoccupied with staying alive to ever really consider what would happen when it died.
So, when it finds itself unable to stay dead, it doesn't feel the need to question it. Infinite deaths and infinite attempts mean that V1 has all the time it could ever need to explore the entirety of Hell.

A time-loop fic based on how restarts and deaths function in-game. V1 is spontaneously brought back to their last checkpoint by Hell each time they die, trapping them in endless time loops that can only be broken through trial-and-error victories. -

When the light was severed from Gabriel, The Council of Angels expected him to perish immediately, but he didn’t. Gabriel escaped heaven before The Council could do anything more to him, but they won’t let him get away easily. The Council decides to kill two birds with one stone. Go to Hell to find Gabriel, and the Machine that managed to defeat Gabriel.
