Summary
The first age of Hallownest has passed. The second age, rising from the ashes of the shattered infection, is only just beginning.
Ghost has lived their entire life within the walls of The White Palace, raised mainly by their mother, The White Lady. For almost as long as they can remember, they’ve had a strange connection to another young bug named Hope, who seems to live in The City of Tears with their younger sister. When an opportunity arises for them to finally see each other, it only raises a thousand new questions for both. As they begin to try and find those answers, their separate worlds start to crumble around them.

Summary
Time travel didn’t fix Ghost’s problems. It made it worse. Their enemy, the Radiance, is back and more dangerous than before.
Ghost is forced to work with the Pale King to defeat her, having their siblings living with the bug they kept away for so long. But Ghost has no choice; it is the only safe place for their siblings. Now with their siblings in the Palace and many others involved with defeating her once and for all, could they have peace?

For just a moment, Xero's assumption led him to trust that the curved white horn was indeed the tusk of a dirtcarver.
So imagine his surprise when he found himself staring face-to-face with the mask of a child.
He truly didn't know what to think, the child now having paused its twisting into the wall. If it was unsure of whether to retreat into the dark crevice it was digging, run, or even bite him, Xero had no way to tell.
"Hello, little one. Are you lost?"
It said nothing. It didn't react whatsoever. It just continued to stare.

"You are a perculiar creature. Something, unlike my eyes have seen", Elderbug said. Link already knew that since he was to different kingdom, his apperance would stick like a sore thumb. The Seer and Iselda had been proof of that.
"I am not from this kingdom" said Link. "I came to explore". "Explore", was a strong word. He didn't have much of a choise.
"Yeah", agreed Elderbug. "My eyes have see a lot of bugs venture into the well over town. But none of them have return, expect the bug that had accompanied you".
Well, that sound reassuring. The Seer, had informed Link about what The Randiance did to bugs in this kingdom, but he had yet see it himself.
The same thing, she had tried to do to him.
(Or Link, before being known as Four in the chain, went into a grand adventure under his Hyrule, growing familair with the kingdom plague by an infection, metting the kingdom's residents and a new adventure awaits him.)

Summary
Hallownest lies in ruins after the earth shook and the infection became no more. Things have settled in a new normalcy with the end of Hallownest’s perpetuation.
One young mantis, unlike the rest of his kin, chafes against the path set for him by his family and elders and he doesn’t see a way out that’s worth it.
A normally VERY unlucky encounter changes everything.

So, while I was asleep, or dead one of the two, I had a dream. In that dream some guy gave me a character creator and said go crazy.
I don’t know who the fuck let’s someone make a new body for their new life while loopy as hell and not thinking right, but they’re a dick.
There was a small bit of recognition when I stared out across the dark room with innumerable old shells of bugs long dead. I even recognized the large eggs that were laying around amongst them even though I only ever saw one before. It didn’t help me much if I’m to be honest. It also doesn’t help that everything about my body feels wrong.
I found the closest and smallest place I could to hide away. The silence was deafening. The solitude was crushing. I hid in a crack in the wall that was barely big enough for my new horns to fit in.
I don’t know how long I was there, my mind was still reeling from everything that had happened.
Then I heard the call from the Pale Light and the cracking of chitin striking stone replaced the prior silence.
