Seeing ghosts

Summary:

This is actually a vent fic about some personal stuff I'm going through, but, decided to take a really creative twist with. So, chapters may be added, but there isn't the promise.

Also this Bill is very much my AUs Bill. The one who's spent 150 years in a romantic relationship with Dipper before Dipper decided he wanted to join the Pines in the after life, and asked for Bill to remove his immortality.
Bill is more, domesticated than a Bill who just started weirdmaggedon.
Almost all of my BillDip fics are based off of this AU.

Chapter 1: Realization fades back into delusion

Chapter Text

Bill stared in horror at the creature that had taken Dipper's form, had tricked him for a little while, and then revealed their true intentions when his guard was down. It was terrifying how well they'd worn the skin of his lover. How easily he'd fallen for it. How dare he forget Dipper had died. What did this monster do to him? His memories being altered terrified him, he was supposed to be the lord of the mindscape and yet? The monster laughed cruelly watching the emotions flick over Bill's face.
"Bill?" It then asked, Dippers face back in place.
"Dipper?" Bill asked, though his mind felt hazy. The cave he'd been lured to blurring and fading into Dipper's room in the mystery shack, but wrong, distorted. He wasn't sure if he was having another memory lapse, or if this was actually the monster? Was he dreaming? He decided to test Dipper, looking at him despite the background shifting making him nauseous. "Mason?"
Dipper looked at him, he looked at him curiously, but there wasn't the typical reaction. It was an illusion, a really good one. "Yes Bill? Are you okay? You look sick, why don't you come lay down on the bed?"
Bill shook his head with a frown, "No, uh, I gotta go find IQ, he and I wanted to talk about something." He said, starting to try to walk through the hazy appearance of a cave and Dippers room combined.
Dipper moved to grab Bill's wrist, "You should really lay down, Bill, you're scaring me."
Bill growled at him, turning to snarl, "Don't touch me Mason, back off!"
"Bill?" He asked letting go and looking terrified.
Bill flinched and felt dizzier, before looking dazed at Dipper, "Dipper? what's.. happening? Where- ... where am I?" He looked down at his wrist where Dipper grabbed him and there was a small, almost needle like, mark there. What was that from? It stung.. He looked up at Dipper, his body starting to shake and tremble.
"Bill!?" He moved to help Bill to the floor, Bill felt another sting but wasn't sure, it felt kind of numb now, and his vision faded black before he even was on the floor.
