In a world where soulmates exist, identified by a unique mark each pair was born with, there is a rare few that don't get soul marks at all. Natasha Romanoff is one of those few. At first, she had been relieved, considered herself lucky to not have a soulmate bond that the Red Room claimed would make her weak. Yet now, as an Avenger, her heart secretly wants that connection with someone. Someone who'd know her better than she knew herself. Someone she could trust no matter what the circumstances.
