“What are you supposed to be?” she asked bluntly, and he glanced down at his costume, scratching the back of his head awkwardly as he puffed out an anxious chuckle.
“Erm… Beetlejuice.” He said, and Norma frowned. “Regina picked it out. She said people would know who I am but I guess I’m going to have to fire her as my costume chooser,” he joked.
“Beetle what now?” she asked. “Like a bug? You don’t look like a bug. Maybe she does need to be fired.”
He snorted. “What? No. Beetlejuice. Like the movie.”
“Never seen it.”
“No way. It’s like a Halloween classic! Come on Norma.”
Norma gets stood up at the Halloween festival, but Alex is determined to make sure she still has a good time!
