This was written for my lovely roomie, who requested a Mark/Joanne. I suppose it's more of a friendship fic than anything else--with, perhaps, the faintest glimmer of something more--but their relationship has such a fascinating dynamic that I had to try it out. It's post-musical and sort of movieverse, I suppose, as long as you take into consideration the scene of the film involving Maureen hitting on Alexi Darling's secretary, and Maureen's subsequent "proposal." (However, that said, I do infinitely prefer the musical to the movie....)
