Summary
The Marauders were never known for thinking about the consequences of their actions. Lily would say that Remus was the only one familiar with the word. When Sirius decides to save Remus form the latest amendment against werewolves, no-one could have seen the repercussions to them, their friends and family and the entire wizarding Britain.
Life without Voldemort and the war is obviously a lot better, but it wouldn't be the marauders without pranks, shenanigans, kidnappings, fake weddings, chosen families and plans to turn over the Ministry of Magic.
