Summary
It's a bit of a surprise. In two years, despite him living in the city and being Poe's oldest friend, this guy hasn't come up once. And now he has a kid? Rey thinks she remembers vaguely Finn mentioning it a while back. But Ben was Poe's friend not his and the details of his life hadn't made it through the grapevine. Definitely not about a marriage or a kid, that's for sure.
Rey hesitates at that. It would've been easy enough to say no to Poe. Not as easy when Finn's stating a good case.
He must suspect her hesitation because Finn adds after a moment: "He doesn't have anyone."
It's enough to convince her. "Yeah, I mean, I'm happy to help out if he doesn't have anyone."
