Dongsik snapped his head in the direction of his sister's voice, rolled flat on his stomach and crawled, pulling his right leg behind him like a dead weight, groaning between clenched teeth every single time the metal bar piercing his thigh hooked on whatever bump of the ground it met.
"Yuyeon! Stay where you are! I- I'm coming to you!"
Dongsik mustered all the strength he had left, fingers digging in the mud. He screamed Yuyeon's name again, fighting the sound of the wind and the battering of the rain to cover it and make sure Yuyeon could hear him.
