There was an air of jolliness to the teenager as he moved, as he swung his thin arms against his sides, as he smiled at the photo frames of him and his family and nodded in respect to the painting of his late mother hung up above their fireplace.
Tommy felt festive. Merry. Good.
The Christmas decorations that he'd put up were pretty, the trees had been decorated, and now he got to spend time with his family.
