   Summary

   After Makoto trusts them enough to leave them *alone* in Future Foundation HQ, someone relapses and reverts back into a Remnant of Despair. They need to figure out what the hell just happened, and what to do about it. Now.

   Thankfully, he’s not doing it alone--he’s got Nagito at his side, and the only thing difficult about their relationship now is the budding, unspoken feelings between them. That… definitely won’t be a distraction.

   HIATUS: this fic is on hiatus bc i've been stuck. I think I wrote myself down a few sideroads I shouldn't have gone down, and I deleted the last 2 chapters. Pretty sure I haven't given up on it yet but tbh not sure when I'll get back to it
