A single dark red carnation.
It was on Neil’s desk when he entered his office.
Neil stared at the flower. He doesn’t know what kind of flower it is but it was very pretty.
He held it in his hands delicately. The flower type itself was gorgeous but the color made it look so much more mesmerizing.
He checked his table looking for a note or something to tell him who gave it.
After scanning the desk then checking under papers he found none. He was confused as to why the person who gave him flower wouldn’t tell their name. Maybe they’re shy? But why give a flower in the first place then? He stroked the petals as he pondered. I’ll think about it later he put the flower back on his desk before heading out his office to start working.
That day Neil was way too busy have the chance to think about the flower on his table. Nor did he notice Shaun’s lingering stares.
