In Fiore, Era, the Magic Council was currently having a meeting. A glass ball fell on the floor but immediately reassembled itself as soon as it hit the ground. "Simon! This is an important meeting. Would you please stop playing?" snapped a short old man with an cat tail and ears. "But there's nothing else to do!," complained a massive, tall and muscular young man, with overly large arms and hands appearing even larger compared to his extremely thin legs. His left eye was covered in a simple, dark eye patch, held up by an extremely slim rope, with a thin scar emerging from under it and going down diagonally on his cheek. His massive jaw was obscured by an armored metal plate, bearing lines of studs on its upper edges and two side protrusions jutting upwards, plus a set of teeth-like ornaments, overall resembling a skeletal jaw. The top of his head was covered in a light turban wrapped around it, tied on the back, where a pair of long wrappings were left hanging over his neck. Most of his muscular upper body was left exposed, being only covered by a large, light cloth passing over his waist, where it was tied by a light sash, plus a single, dark sleeve on the left arm, bearing two light stripes vertically going down it, from the shoulder to the cuff. The cloth crossing his chest diagonally had its edges adorned by a series of dark pyramids, and bore in its middle several dark, larger motifs, highly reminiscent of double-edged axes. He also wore a pair of extremely loose dark pants, almost reaching down to his ankles, which made his thin legs look larger, and a simple pair of light, ankle boots. "Isn't that right, Eileen-sama?"
"Yes, very little to do...I sure hope somebody will stir up some trouble," said a young woman with long, scarlet hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a custom-made armor by Heart Kreuz smiths, a blue skirt, black boots, and diamond shaped silver earrings. "Sh-shut your mouth!!" shouted the Council leader in annoyance. "how did these young cretins get on the Council anyway?" shouted another in irritation. "'Cause we've got killer magic, that's why. You old fart," said Simon, adding the last bit in a whisper but still loud enough for the others to hear which caused them even more annoyance. Will both of you be silent?!" said a man suddenly and stamped his staff into the ground, "The magical world is beset with a mountain of problems! And among them, the problem to be solved with the greatest speed concerns...those idiots at Fairy Tail!!"

Meanwhile, in the port town of Hargeon, a train had just arrived at the station. "U-Um...Sir...? A-Are you all right?" asked an employee at the train. He was looking down at a lean, muscular young man with slightly tan skin tone, black eyes, spiky pink-colored hair and abnormally sharp canines. His outfit consists of a sleeveless, gold trimmed, black waistcoat, left open and untucked, exposing his bare chest, a gold trimmed, black cloth around his waist that reaches his knees, held by a leather brown belt with an oval-shaped silver buckle, white knee-length trousers with black ribbon ties, a thick black wristband on his left wrist, black open-toed sandals and a scale-patterned scarf. He was leaning against the wall of the train, looking like he was a minute away from throwing up.
"I can't stand it!!! I'm never getting on a train again!" complained Natsu weakly as he tried not to throw up as he got of the train. In another part of Hargeon a girl and a flying cat had entered a magic shop.
"Huh?! You mean there's only one magic shop in town?!" asked a girl with brown eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair that was tied by a marine blue ribbon in a small ponytail to the right side of her head with the rest of her hair loose. Behind her flew a small, white cat with pink ears and brown eyes. She had two whiskers on each side of her face. She was wearing a mustard yellow and red top with a pink bow tie, a pink skirt with a pink bow near the end of her tail. "Yes...Well, this town has always had more fish buyers than magic buyers. In fact, less than one-tenth of the people in town can use any magic at all. We mostly sell our items to traveling wizards these days," explained the old man behind the counter. "So this whole side-trip was a waste," sighed Carla, the white cat. "Now, now! Don't be that way! Just look around! We have many of the very latest magic items! Like this colors magic! Very popular with the lady wizards! No matter what you're feeling that day...your clothes will change color to match your mood!"
"I already have it. What I'm looking for is a really powerful Gatekey!!" answered the blonde girl, who's name was Lucy, while she looked through the shop. "Gates? Those are pretty rare," commented the seller when Lucy caught sight of something that made her light up. "A white doggy!!!" she squeaked as she caught sight of the key of the Canis Minor. "If you want powerful, that isn't it," sweat dropped the seller. "Who cares! I've been looking for one! How much?" smiled Lucy and turned to the seller with a huge smile. "20 Grand Jewels," the seller answered. "No, I mean, how much?" said Lucy, still with a huge smile on her face. "How much do you mean, really? You wonderful man!" smiled Lucy with flirty eyes while crossing her arms under her chest to intentionally make her boobs look bigger, which caused Carla to face-paw. "Why Mira? Why did you teach her that?" she whispered under her breath as a image of a white-haired girl with a huge smirk appeared in her mind.

Meanwhile, Natsu was making his way through the town when suddenly a bunch of screaming girls ran past him. "What's going on?" blinked Natsu in confusion.
"I can't believe that a famous wizard has come to our town!!"
"Black Steel the iron dragon!!"
"Iron dragon," whispered Natsu under his breath as desperation filled his eyes.

"say, Carla...do you have any idea what Gajeel is doing here in Hargeon?" asked Lucy as she and Carla made their way through the town. "Maybe he's on his way back from a job and forgot to hide his Guild mark, seems like something that reckless man would do," huffed Carla as she walked by Lucy's side. In that moment, a huge crowd of girls were heard screaming "Black Steel-sama!". Lucy and Carla shared a look before they ran towards the crowd.
In the middle of the crowd of girls was a man that Lucy and Carla knew for sure wasn't Gajeel. It was a relatively tall and slim man with mildly short, spiky hair jutting outwards, with a long fringe left hanging over the upper left part of his face. He possessed a mildly rectangular face with sharp features, dark eyes and thin, dark eyebrows. His most distinctive facial feature was a dark tattoo covering the right part of his forehead, just above his right eyebrow, this being highly reminiscent of a thin, stylized pair of tongs placed horizontally, with the 'handles' pointing towards his right. Lucy stared at the man in trance as a strange feeling took over her. 'Wh-Wh-Wh-Why is my heart racing like this?!!'
'W-Wait a minute. I don't understand what's come over me!'
"Ha ha! I don't know what to do. I can't get where I'm going with all you lovely ladies here," chuckled 'Black Steel' when he suddenly turned a flirty glance towards Lucy which got the girl's heart racing even harder out of control. 'Why am I getting so flustered when this unknown man is pretending to be my friend. Why is my heart beating so hard?!!' thought Lucy unaware of a cry of "Black Steel!" that came out of nowhere and completely unaware of the pink-haired boy who was pushing his way through the crowd of girls.
"Black Steel!!!! Your friends with Igneel, right?!!" shouted Natsu and fell down on his knees when he finally made his way through the crowd which caused Lucy to break out of her trance. Natsu and 'Black Steel' looked at each other in stunned silence. "Who are you?!" stuttered Natsu in shock which caused 'Black Steel' to startle for a minute before he recomposed himself. "If I said Black Steel...would that ring any bells with you?" asked the man with a smirk.
But to his shock, Natsu just walked away from him in a obvious sad mode. But he only got a few meters before he got attacked by a bunch of angry girls.
"Hey, you!! That was rude!!"
"Right! Black Steel-sama is a top wizard!!"
"You'd better do some heavy apologizing!!"
"What's with you guys?" chocked Natsu as he was chocked by his scarf. "Now, now! I think that will be quite enough. It isn't as if he meant to insult me," winked 'Black Steel' which caused the girls to start gushing over how kind he was. Lucy, meanwhile, had already told Carla what was going on and the two was glaring at 'Black Steel' in distain when he suddenly took out a paper and wrote something on it. "Here's my autograph. Now you can brag about it to your little friends," said 'Black Steel' and handed it over to the boy while the girls started to shriek again but Natsu just stated, "Don't want it,"
He was immediately kicked out of the crowd by a bunch of angry girls. "I guess he wasn't friends with Igneel," groaned Natsu, not even bothering to get up from the ground. "Ladies, my appreciation for your enthusiasm knows no bounds, but I must see to business at the harbor. Excuse me," said 'Black Steel' and snapped his fingers which caused an shard of iron to materialize in front of him.
He stepped up on it and immediately started floating up into the sky much to the girls glee. "There will be a party tonight on my yacht. Of course you all must attend," said 'Black Steel' before he disappeared closely followed by all the girls who immediately hurried home to pick out there best dresses. "What's that guy's deal?" frowned Natsu as he looked up to the spot in the sky where 'Black Steel' had vanished from. "He really is a piece of work, huh?" said a female voice behind him. Natsu turned around to see Lucy and Carla walk up behind him.
"Thanks for all you did!" smiled Lucy at the boy who looked at her in confusion.

A few minutes later, Natsu was practically throwing food down his throat at a nearby restaurant. "Fanks for da foo!" he managed to get out from his fast eating.
"So your name is Natsu?" smiled Lucy nervously as bits of food came on her much to Carla's disgust who was sitting next to her, calmly drinking her tea while Lucy tried to get the boy to slow down. "That guy Black Steel is using a type of magic called a 'charm'. This spell sways people's hearts in the magician's favor. They outlawed the sale of that kind of magic years ago. Anybody who'd use tricks like that to get girls can't be trusted," explained Carla while calmly drinking her tea. "But when you came barging in, you broke the charm on me," finished Lucy. "Dat maigs zense," muttered Natsu as he tried to take a bite of a piece of meat. "I know I look like just a girl, but I'm more or less a Wizard myself," said Lucy.
"Reawy?" said Natsu with his mouth full of food. "Yeah, we're actually on our way back to our guild right now," smiled Lucy before she suddenly realized, "Oh! A guild is a building where wizards gather and confer. The guild acts as a mediator when it comes to wizards' jobs and information. They say any wizard who isn't in a guild isn't a real wizard,"
"Ah! Sorry! You don't know anything about the world of wizardry, do you?" chuckled Lucy nervously. "Y-You fink tho?" said Natsu paying no mind to the ramen that was hanging out of his mouth. "By the way, you seemed to be looking for someone," said Lucy after a few seconds of awkward silence. "Aye, Igneel," answered Natsu.
"I could see he wasn't a real Black Steel just by looking. I was sure it would be a friend of Igneel's," sighed Natsu in despair much to Lucy and Carla's confusion. "See he isn't a real Black Steel just by looking? What do you mean? He was just a man..." said Lucy slowly in confusion but deep down both she and Carla had already figured it out. "Hm? We're not looking for a man. Igneel is a real dragon," blinked Natsu confused on why the two thought Igneel was a man. Even though both Lucy and Carla had already figured it out, it still caused both of them quite the shock to be confirmed. "There's no way you'd find a dragon in a human town!!!" shrieked Carla at the top of her lungs in shock that the man in front of them was just as idiotic as their friend Gajeel who had also thought that. "And quit making faces like you never thought of that, you are just as much as an idiot as Gajeel!!!" snapped Lucy when she saw Natsu's stupefied expression.
"We have to go now. Take your time and finish your lunch," sighed Lucy and put a few Jewels bills on the table as she stood up. Natsu looked at her in stunned silence for a minute before tears started sprouting from his eyes much to Lucy's shock. "THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE FOOD!!!! THANK YOU!!!!" he practically screamed and bowed down before her in the middle of the restaurant much to her embarrassment. "I-I'ts okay. You did save me back there. We'll call it even, okay?" stuttered Lucy. "But I didn't do it intending to save anyone," muttered Natsu as he stood up and in that moment he got an idea, "I got it!!"
"You can have this!!" he said and reached over 'Black Steel's' autograph to her. "I don't want it!!!!" snapped Lucy and slapped the thing out of his hand.

A few hours later, Lucy and Carla were sitting on a bench in the park with Lucy holding a magazine called Sorcerer Weekly which she was currently flipping through. "You mean everyone back home is creating problems again? What is it this time? They brought down the Devon Bandit Clan, but in the process destroyed seven private homes!" read Lucy with a laugh at her families' havoc.
She flipped a page when she saw something else that caught her eye. "Ah! It's Laxus' latest photoshop," smiled Lucy when she saw the man that she looked up to as an older brother in the magazine. She smiled before declaring, "Fairy Tail really are the best!!" giggled Lucy which caused Carla to smile before she stiffened and turned around to look at the bushes behind them with Lucy quickly following her example.
"I see. So you'd like to be in Fairy Tail!" grinned *Black Steel' as he popped out of the bushes, having clearly misunderstood the conversation. "B-Black Steel?!!" stuttered Lucy as she looked at the man in shock. "You're a hard girl to find. I wanted to be sure that all the girls of your beauty were invited to the party on my yacht!" he smiled as he got out of the bushes much to Lucy's shock. "Just so you know, charm magic doesn't work on me! The charm spell can be broken by realization. Anybody who knows you're using it is unaffected!" declared Lucy and stood up while glaring at the man. "I knew it. I figured you were a wizard the first time our eyes met. Fine. No charms as long as you come to my party," smiled 'Black Steel'.
"Not a chance! I'd never go to a party held by a disgusting man like you!" snapped Lucy. "Disgusting? Me?" asked 'Black Steel' stunned. "Using charms! Do you really want people to worship you that much?" asked Lucy and looked at the man like he was an enemy. "That's only used for show. Every party needs a celebrity," winked 'Black Steel'. "Who'd think a fool like you could ever be a famous wizard?" sighed Lucy and started to walk away with Carla when 'Black Steel' told them to wait. "You...said you'd like to join the Fairy Tail guild, right?" asked 'Black Steel' which caused Lucy and Carla to stop. They shared a look before they looked back at 'Black Steel'. "You've never heard of Black Steel of Fairy Tail?" Lucy sent a look at Carla which she knew meant that she had came up with an crazy plan. Carla sighed, knowing she most likely will have to save her from said plan.
"You're a Fairy Tail wizard?!!" said Lucy in fake astonishment. "I am. If you want in, I can put in a good word for you with the Master," smiled 'Black Steel' as Lucy looked up at him. "C-Can you really get me into Fairy tail?!!" smiled Lucy, silently thanking all the acting jobs she had taken in the past. "Of course I can! But in exchange you have to stay quiet about the charm," winked 'Black Steel'. "Okay!" giggled Lucy.
"Then we shall meet again at the party!" said 'Black Steel' and waved Lucy goodbye before walking away from the park. "What's your plan child?" asked Carla as she walked over to Lucy and looked up at her. "To get onboard and find out what he is up to," said Lucy with a determined look on her face before adding, "Go find Natsu. We may need his help,"

"Bwaah! I am so full!!" laughed Natsu as he walked through the darkened street of Hargeon late at night when two girls passed him by.
"Look! Look! That's Black Steel-sama's yacht!! Aww! I wanted to go to the party, too!"
"Black Steel?"
"Don't you know. He's that amazing wizard who just came to town! You know! That famous wizard from Fairy Tail!!"
That sentence caused Natsu's head to snap towards the two girls. "Fairy Tail?" he whispered under his breath as he looked at the yacht out on the ocean. Although it did not take him long to start getting sick by thinking about being on a boat. Although he snapped out of it when he heard someone call his name. He turned around and saw Carla running towards him. As soon as he saw the look on her face, he knew that something big was going to go down.

Meanwhile on the ship, Lucy had been invited into 'Black Steel's' personal room while the rest of the girls were out on deck gossiping. "Lucy, huh? Such a nice name," complimented 'Black Steel'. "Thank you," smiled Lucy sweetly even though her insides were curling in disgust.
"First, we should pour the wine and make a toast," said 'Black Steel' and poured a bottle of wine into Lucy's glass. "Don't you have other guests?" sweat dropped Lucy nervously but 'Black Steel' just waved her concern away. "The only one I feel like drinking with now is you," smirked 'Black Steel' and snapped two of his fingers which caused a few bottles of wine to fly up from the drink. "Just open those beautiful lips...and allow these jewel drops of the fruit of the wine to dance upon your taste buds," smiled 'Black Steel' in a way that most girl would think was charming but Lucy was not like the other girls, so it only intensified her creep-factor. Lucy gulped but still opened her mouth to let the drops into her mouth but seconds before they could her eyes snapped open as she realized the truth.
Lucy stood up and immediately swiped away the drops to the side much to 'Black Steel's' confusion. "What's the meaning of this? Those are sedatives, aren't they?" asked Lucy with a dark glare. "Oh, no! So you saw through it," chuckled 'Black Steel' darkly. "Don't get the wrong idea. I have no intention of being your girlfriend," she said darkly much to his amusement.
"What will I do with you? If you had just allowed yourself to get drugged, this wouldn't have hurt," he said darkly much to Lucy's confusion when suddenly a pair of strong hands took a hold of her arms. "What's going on here?!" Who are you people?!!" shouted Lucy as she looked at all the men which had appeared behind her when suddenly a hand took a hold of her jaw and forced her eyes to look forward.
"Welcome aboard my slave ship!! You are going to behave yourself until we arrive in the country of Bosco young lady!" sneered 'Black Steel' and Lucy's eyes went wide with fear as she realized what was going on.
'What is with this guy?!! I never figured him to be this bad,' thought Lucy as she looked down at the floor in a panic but even so, she didn't realize until it was to late that 'Black Steel' had put his hands under her dress and had gotten a hold of her Gatekeys in the process. "Hm? Gatekeys...so she's a celestial wizard?" mused 'Black Steel' as he looked at the keys in his hand. While the other slave traders murmured with each other about what kind of magic that was, 'Black Steel' made his way over to the porthole in his hut. "It's nothing to worry about. Only the parties to the contract can use this magic. In other words, since it can't help me..." explained 'Black Steel' with a dark smirk while throwing the keys out of the porthole into the ocean.
Lucy looked up with a glare as she 'Black Steel' made his way over to her with a branding pole in his hands which was smoking red in heat. "The first thing we do with slaves is brand them! It might sting a bit, but grit your teeth and bear it," he explained.
'He uses forbidden magic, fools the unsuspecting and turns people into slaves?!!' "That's the lowest a wizard can sink!!!" sneered Lucy when suddenly the roof caved in much to everyone's surprise.
Everyone turned around just in time to see Natsu land in the middle of the room. "Th-That's the kid from earlier today?!!!" stuttered 'Black Steel' in shock. "Natsu!!" smiled Lucy in relief. Since she had already figured out that he was a Dragon Slayer, she knew that all of the girls were going to be okay.
But since it was a boat, Natsu collapsed with motion sickness at once. "Oh c'mon!" complained Lucy until she joined the men and looked up, although unlike the others who looked up in confusion she looked up with a grin. "Hello child. Have you realized what is going on yet?" asked Carla with a small smile before she flew in and picked Lucy up.
"He threw my keys into the ocean," Lucy explained and Carla nodded, understanding the plan. "You think you can get away?!!!" sneered 'Black Steel' and, much to everyone's surprise, switched to Fire magic.
Lucy and Carla got out of the way just in time before a cloud of fire burst through the roof. "Don't let that girl get away!!! If the Council gets wind of this, it'll mean no end of trouble!!!" ordered 'Black Steel' and his men immediately picked up their guns and started shooting after the two.
Lucy and Carla shared a nod before Carla let go of Lucy who fell down into the ocean. "Did I get her?" asked a man uncertainty. Lucy looked around for a moment before she caught sight of her keys, hanging on the edge of a rock. 'There they are!! I'm so glad they got caught in the shallows!!'
Meanwhile on the boat, Natsu had started to slowly try to get up on his feet with the help of the wall while glaring daggers at 'Black Steel'. After Carla had explained everything, he had gotten filled with the most rage he had ever felt before in his life. In that moment, Lucy emerged with a huge gasp and picked up one of her keys. "Open, Gate of the Scorpion! Scorpio!" shouted Lucy and a huge light appeared before her which Carla was quick to catch as soon as it had materialized. Scorpio was a relatively tall, lean-built, dark-skinned man with short hair that was red on one side and white on the other. He had a large tail that was shaped like a scorpion's tail that had the words 'Antares' written on it. He wasn't wearing a shirt but had instead a flower-shaped collar that was red and trimmed with gold around his neck. He had a red sheet-like material around his waist that was kept up by a large belt that had the Scorpio symbol on it. He was also wearing black shorts and had bandage-like material wrapped around his arms and legs.
"We are! Great to see ya, Lucy, Carla," grinned Scorpio while folding his middle and ring fingers back while keeping his index and little fingers extended, mimicking the pincer claws of a scorpion. "Use your powers to force that ship back to the shore," grinned Lucy which he returned, "Got it. Look out for ya wings, Carla,"
Carla folded in her wings just in time for Scorpio to ready his tail. "Sand Buster!" he shouted and a large amount of sand fired from it which immediately forced the ship back to shore.
While people on the shore looked at the ship in shock, Natsu finally managed to get up. "That rocking motion...it's stopped," he panted while wiping his mouth.
"Natsu! Are you all ri-," shouted Lucy as she pushed the door open only to freeze when she saw the dark expression on his face. "Kid, it isn't polite to barge onto a private yacht, right?" sneered 'Black Steel'. "I think Lucy has something she wanna say to you," was Natsu's only response. Everyone blinked at that before turning to Lucy who was currently taking of her gloves which she had had on the whole time.
"You're a Fairy Tail wizard?" she asked as a bunch of men made their way over to her. "Yeah, what about it?!" 'Black Steel' sneered. "I want to see your face real good," she said while glaring at the man as her gloves fell to the floor.
"'Cause I'm Lucy of Fairy Tail!!! And I ain't never seen you before in my life!!!!" Lucy sneered and quickly took out the men with her whip which Carla had gotten back to her, showing her pink guild mark on her hand much to everyone's surprise.
Natsu smirked and stood next to Lucy with a grin.
"Huh?! That mark!!!"
"That one's the real thing, Bora-san!!!"
"Y-You idiot!!! Don't use that name!!!"
"Bora...a few years back a man named Bora the Prominence was expelled from the Titan Nose guild," explained Lucy. "I heard about that! He was expelled for repeatedly using magic to aid in thievery," said Natsu before he walked forward with a dark expression on his face, "You could be good or evil! It makes no difference to me!! But I'm not going to let you slander the name of my friends' old guild!!!"
"Heh!! Stop with the stupid speeches, you little brat!!!!" shouted Bora and sent a huge inferno towards the boy. "Natsu!!!" shouted Lucy and was about to move forward to help him when Carla stopped her with one of her wings. "This is bad!" said a voice after a few moments of silence which got Lucy to grin as she realized which element Natsu used.
"What's this supposed to be? Are you really a fire wizard, or is iron magic your real magic and this only secondary magic? I've never eaten fire that tastes this bad," complained Natsu as he ate the fire much to the slave traders shock and horror.
"Ahhh...but thanks for the meal, anyway," grinned Natsu and wiped his mouth.
"Wh...Wh-Wha...What the hell is this guy?!!!" stuttered Bora in horrified shock.
"Fire?!!"
"You mean he ate the fire?!!"
"Fire doesn't work on Natsu," grinned Lucy. "When I eat, the power wells up inside!!!" said Natsu as his power rose.
In that moment, one of the slave traders realized the truth.
"Bora-san, he uses the same magic as the real Black Steel!!!" he shouted which got Bora to start panicking.
"Fire Dragon's Roar!" shouted Natsu and a inferno of fire escaped from his mouth and immediately defeated all of the slave traders in the room.
Bora was the only one still standing but he got defeated by a single punch to the head.
"A dragon's lungs exhale fire. A dragon's scales dissolve fire. A dragon's claws are enveloped in fire. This is an enchantment that transforms the body and gives it the aspects of a dragon's body," said Lucy as she looked over the inferno.
"He's amazing...Amazing, but...
HE'S GETTING TOO CARRIED AWAY!!!!" Lucy looked over at the destroyed harbor in shock. She had always prided herself for being one of the less destructive members of the guild but she knew that this would be blamed on her. Oh god, that annoying rain woman is going to have a fit of laughter when she hears about this.
"A-All right!! What's all this, then?!!" Natsu turned around when he heard the unfamiliar voice only to be meet by the approaching army. "It's the army!!!" he shouted in panic before he suddenly was dragged off.
"Oh, no!!! We've gotta get out of here!!!" shrieked Lucy in panic as Natsu started running beside her. "Why are you dragging me along?!!!" asked Natsu. "Hey, you haven't joined a guild yet, right?" smiled Lucy kindly. Her smile was the kindest thing he had ever seen.
Natsu grinned and the two ran away from the harbor together, unaware of the adventure that awaited them.

"Those idiots at Fairy tail have done it to us again!!!" shouted an angry voice as a newspaper was thrown on the table.
"this time, it's a harbor that's half-destroyed! can you believe it?!"
"Someday we'll find out that they've wiped out an entire town!!!"
"Don't jinx us. They may actually do it someday,"
