Yuuji hadn't been expecting to run into so much trouble on his way home but when he sees what looks to be a blind man cross the street in front of a car, he just can't help himself.
Turns out, that was the right thing to do. It soon becomes clear that this man, Gojo, was lost in more ways than just direction.Originally Yuuji was just going to help him on his way to the café, but maybe this meeting had a deeper meaning. Maybe today was about not being alone. He wouldn't pry, but he could give him what he clearly needed: an ear to listen, a word to comfort, and hand guide him, at least for a little while.

satoru hating the title he was born with only to meet yuuji. deciding it's worth it if it meant he could protect people like yuuji in this world. no matter how rare they are.
finding something he wants to keep for himself for the first time, want it so bad he's willing to let it slip away his fingers. if it meant he could save yuuji from tragedy (that is himself and the world)
fates and yuuji: nuh-uh
now you would have to pry yuu out of his cold dead hands :3

everdair coping and dealing with their traumas and grief so differently (katniss by holding onto them and finnick by burying and avoiding them) while trying to hold and be there for each other!!!
so sweet, slow, warm, and hopeful as all things should be. slow like how they danced and recover. warm like the sand and dirt beneath their feet. sweet like how jo/finn's platonic intimacy and katniss/haymitch morning routine. hopeful like the ending of the remaining victors. (haymitch having the kids as his anchor, jo's steady recovery 😭, finnick's decision to finally open up and face his own grief and hurt!!! and katniss openly care and love for another person!!!!!!!)
also showed the guilt of the pair to love again perfectly, had me sniffing and sht : ((
loved how it emphasized no matter how we cope, it doesn't really make our grief and traumas less significant. at the end of the day, i love healing fics abt characs who deserves better!! <33

what what what hahahhahaha. the beginning was heavy (an understatement!!) depressing, and fitting to the series. middle, was good u molded out annie/peeta's relationship and finn/kat's.
the ending however was weak and disappointing— sorry not sorry— i think they should have stopped being selfish and toxic with one another and move on.
finn and kat deserved a healthy and steadfast love (like theirs towards p and a) and sadly they didn't get that. what u did however was justify and abused f and k's "understanding" towards the other two, which is toxic!!!! it could've been save if all of the possible pairs sat and talk with each other, to clear up or for some closure. that would have tied up together with ur ending.
this made me feel grief and actually made me hate peeta and annie😭 never rereading this for my own sanity. keep writing tho :))) u have a talent
