“Here.”
Suga blinks, momentarily taken aback before he looks down. In Daichi’s hand is a dirt-green paper cup with a white plastic lid on top of it, and when Suga looks back up at him in confusion the man actually blushes.
“I— what?” Suga asks and the tint on the man’s face turns even redder.
Daichi groans and averts his eyes. “Look—“ He sighs and Suga just feels himself becoming even more confused. “Sorry. I know that it is stupid and everything but I don’t know, I remembered that you mentioned that you were looking forward to a cup of coffee earlier? And then I kinda remembered seeing one of those machines further down the hall and I just thought—“
“You got me coffee?” Suga cuts in, unable to stop himself. There is something giddy, and almost warm in his chest at the thought of this injured, grimy and stupid firefighter somehow coming to the conclusion that fetching Suga mediocre machine coffee at four in the morning was the correct course of action.
