Snow Mayhem

Summary:

Day 4 for the 12 Days of Christmas Shipping.

Pairing-Literally too many to count here. (Danganronpa)

Notes:

I was originally gonna just do Sora x Yuki, and then it stemmed into this mess.

Also haha, totally didn't forget Kiyoka existed and just paired her with Mitch cause no one else was available hahahaha nope

And wanna know how I made these groups of pairings? I stuck them in a wheel, picked five for three groups, that's it

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Winter’s snowfall arrived in Japan, and those in Hope’s Peak Academy were not putting it to waste. Whatever little coursework they had was promptly ignored in favor of having fun in the snow. Class 79 A and B took to playing in the area surrounding Hope’s Peak, (likely bought off by the Steering Committee), and...shenanigans ensued.

Satsuki loved surges of adrenaline. One of the reasons she had a pilot boyfriend was because standing in a plane despite his cries not to was really fun. And currently, she was in one of the most dangerous battles of all time…

A snowball fight.

To her left was Nijiue Iroha, the Otonokoji twins, and Chiebukuro Setsuka. While Nijiue was classified as a low-level threat, Otonokoji was more dangerous from all the muscle she built up carrying her guitar everywhere.

(Or at least, she hopes it’s carrying her guitar around.)

The other Otonokoji was slightly less strong, given that she never had to bring her mic stand anywhere. And while Chiebukuro was just a bit less strong than Kanade, Satsuki knows she never uses her full strength.

With a little targeting onto Nijiue, Kanade will abandon her offense to protect her, and then Haruhiko can take her down for good. As for the other pairing? One good snowball to the head and neck will render both of them useless.

Or at least get them too cold that they can’t play anymore.

To her right, was Kanata Inori and Kakeru Yamaguchi. Hardly classified as threats. Kanata had the strength of a paper stick, and while Kakeru had the strength of a goddamn warrior, he refused to use it under any costs. A few hard snowballs their way would take care of them nicely.

To her middle, though, was the biggest threat of all. Makunouchi Hajime and Kasai Shinji. These guys meant no joking around. If Kakeru had the strength of a warrior, these two had the strength of an army combined!

Rusty gears were turning in the girl’s head to compute the most effective and efficient way to take those two out.

Which lasted a total of 5 minutes before she gave up and tried to sneak attack them with the help of Haruhiko.

...Satsuki got out of the snowball fight that day, and also got out of class for more than a week because of broken bones.

You would think, or at least hope, that building a snow fort would be relatively easy with two Ultimates who specialized in sports. You would be wrong. So dead wrong, at least in Tsurugi’s eyes. Hitting his head against a lamppost once more, the officer surveyed what the hell was going on.

Rei decided to give up and relaxed with her exorcist girlfriend making very tiny snow angels with their hands. Ayame and Akane stopped building to routinely bring everyone hot cocoa from the local cafe, with Ayame running back and forth with her girlfriend on piggyback, and Akane having some scary balancing skills as she never dropped a single mug. Not that Tsurugi was complaining about that though.

Mikado, Teruya, and Nikei were actually building the damn fort. Mikado was using his magic to help place the snow bricks, and his two boyfriends were doing whatever they could to help fortify. They would’ve been done sooner, if Mitch wasn’t a total ass and jumped straight into the snow bricks every once in a while. Tsurugi needed to actually restrain Mikado from invoking a fire spell that Mitch honestly deserves a long while ago. He just did it so the snow wouldn’t melt, and they’d have to head back to the academy. Meanwhile, Mitch’s girlfriend Kiyoka just watched as he nearly got flambéed over and over.

And most saddening of all, Kinji was patting the snow that fell from the fort murmuring a desperate prayer to let this freaking fort be done, please.

Not that Tsurugi was doing much either, he just stood awkwardly and gave up when Mitch blasted through for the fourth time.

-FWOOOOSH-

“AAAAAAAAAAAH! I’M SORRY! I’M SORRY! CHILL OUT WIZARD BOY!”

“I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL YOU REPENT FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, MR. HIGA!”

Goddamn it, he has to restrain Mikado again

In comparison to what her other classmates were doing, Sora had a pleasant time building snowmen with her girlfriend, Yoruko Kabuya. Or as she liked to call her, “Yoru-tsun.”

Yoruko gave up trying to make Sora ditch that name long ago.

Granted, they couldn’t roll the snowmen too big or else their near weak noodle arms would never be able to pick up the snowballs at all. There went her plans for a snow giant.

After they finished their, what? Seventh snowman, the couple took a break to see what the others that went along with them did.

Emma had the bright idea of making Kokoro into a snowwoman herself, despite the psychologist’s monotone pleas to not give her hypothermia. The actress promptly ignored those pleas, and continued to cover her in snow until somehow, only her head was sticking out.

Yuki and his girlfriend Kizuna, (a pairing she never thought would happen), had made some pretty average snowmen, except for the fact that somehow 50% of them had giant snow busts that were somehow staying up, probably because of the two lucky students in the vicinity.

It took all of Yuki and Yuri’s willpower to not stare.

Yamato and Utsuro somehow ended up making 5 snow-mechas, all intricately designed with a stick. Utsuro was complaining that his inventor boyfriend dragged him out of the warm academy to just use his Divine Luck so the mechas wouldn’t lose shape, but Sora was aware that he was secretly guiltily happy his luck was used for something so stupid instead of something that people normally took advantage of. Yamato was still etching the details in one of the mechs, muttering about if he could stick some wiring in them and make them unstoppable monsters. Utsuro manipulated his luck to distract Yamato from that train of thought.

And, she doesn’t know how, but Yuri somehow got 3 of his workers from Russia to build snowwoman for him, (even when he was dating Syobai, he still heavily sought to treat women better over men, his lover excluded), and the broker ended up chilling with him because neither one wanted to be out, but their class gave them no choice.

Sora smiled at all of them. She wants this tranquility to last forever.

Notes:

Sora: I like this peace.

Junko: Enjoy that while it lasts.

This took forever to tag so be happy.
