Hitoshi opened the door to the house, sighing. He walked upstairs, placing his school stuff away with his uniform. He walked back downstairs, sitting on one of the chairs. It took his brain a few seconds to process that there was another figure across from him. It was Hizashi Yamada, one of his adoptive dads. He was listening to the radio, like one of the physical ones, not like an app on his phone. Hizashi insisted on keeping it around. But it still listens recent radio because the voice hero totally didn’t bring it to the support course so they could Hotwire it.
But it turns out Mic finally noticed Hitoshi as well.
“Hey, kiddo.”
”Hey.”
”How was school?”
”It was good.”
God, this was awkward. But it was an awkward yet comfortable silence, if you could explain that, at least.

A week later, Hitoshi came home and shut the door behind him. He put his backpack upstairs same as last week. He sat back down and saw Hizashi next to the radio.
”Anything happen at school today?”
”Yeah, actually. This kid keeps talking to me.”
”That’s good, that’s called making friends, Hitoshi.”
“I know what making friends is. I just...”
”You just?”
”Don’t need them.”
”Well maybe you don’t. But you could have a lot of fun in your school years if you made some friends.”
”Fine...I’ll try to talk to him.”
“That’s the spirit, Kiddo!”
”I feel That I’m going to regret this...”

Here they were again, at the table.
”Soo...did you talk to him?”
”Yeah.”
”And how did that go?”
”It went good. He actually not that bad.”
”See, I told you.”
”Fine, I guess you were right.”

This time, this was when things got a little interesting.
”Hey, Mic?”
”Yeah, Kiddo?”
”How did you know when you had a crush on dad?”
“Where is this coming from?”
“I just..I think I have a crush on someone.”
”Well who is she?”
”He’s really pretty...”
“Oh.”
”Yeah.”
”Well, what else do you like about him?”
”He’s smart, and he has a cool quirk.”
”I can say you have more reasons?”
”Yeah.”
”Well, How did you know you had a crush on him?”
”Okay, we were hanging out, and I asked him how do you know if you have a crush on someone?”
”Real subtle there, by the way.”
”Oh shush. Anyway, he answered with ‘when their smile lights up the room.’”
”And?”
”Then later we were laughing and his smile...”
”Lit up the room?”
”Yeah...”
”I would say you have it bad for him.”

The next important conversation came a few weeks later.
”Mic.”
”Hitoshi.”
”I kissed him.”
”You what?”
Shinsou’s face down on the table, but he couldn’t hide his red face.
”You heard me.”
”Well..How did it go?”
”We ended up getting together.”
”What do you feel with him?”
”What are you, my therapist?”
”Don’t change the subject.”
”I feel sparks.”
”Alright. Make sure he treats you right.”
”I don’t want to listen to this...”

Hizashi tried to piece together who Shinsou’s boyfriend was, but after a few weeks, it clicked. Surprisingly, Aizawa was the first one to figure it out.
”Hey Shou?”
”Yeah?”
”Do you know who Shinsou’s dating?”
”Yeah.”
”What?! And you didn’t tell me?!”
”I thought it was obvious.”
”Well Tell me then.”
”It’s Kaminari.”
”What?!?!”
“Oh come on you can not be this dumb.”
”Wait, Shinsou didn’t even talk to you about this. How did you know?”
”I have a sixth sense for this stuff.”
