Summary
Boba Fett is in the middle of a firefight in the throne room when his comm goes off in his helmet. It is only a mild distraction compared to others, like the small explosion near the stairs. He growls and shoots one of the Black Sun Syndicate goons, and answers, “You have fascinating timing, Mandalorian.”
“You sound busy,” he says, and Boba is almost relieved to hear his voice considering how many people are surrounding him. Good voice to hear if I’m about to die.
“Oh, just a rough meeting. Never too busy for you.” Boba shoots two more and dives to the next cover beside Fennec, who glares at him.
She says, “I had the feeling this was going to happen after you sent that messenger back in a crate.”
“What?” Din says.
“I’m in a small firefight,” Boba says by way of explanation. “Average day; nothing to worry about.”
“Are you talking to Mando?” Fennec almost shouts. She sounds a mix of amused an annoyed.
Boba shoots another on the stairs who falls into two more, one breaking their neck in the process. He kills the other and tosses out a bomb. He says to Din, “Fennec says Hi.”
