   He was overwhelmed with this feeling that he couldn't quite describe. This urge, this need, to never let her go, to hold her through every bad day, to wake up every morning and know that she was safe beside him. He felt like he couldn't breathe unless he knew she was okay, and he would go to the ends of the Earth to keep her safe. He would do anything for her in a heartbeat. Anything. He didn't know when it happened, but she had carved a piece of herself into his heart. And as much as he couldn't admit it, no matter how long he had restrained himself from diving too deep, he couldn't suppress the next thought from entering his mind.
