Summary
Silk Province, as most of Wind does, struggles under the Kaze Daimyo's rule.
The north accepts his "leadership"; the west remains silent; but the south desires freedom, and there is no better person to help obtain such freedom than Gaara of the Desert.
But as the south of Silk seeks Gaara's help, the Kaze Daimyo lays plans of his own, determined to sabotage any and all attempts at sovereignty. He enlists Konoha, under the leadership of the seventh and youngest Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto, who is far too green and far too naive to recognize the trick being played on him. But in times of peace, what does Naruto truly have to worry about? Without a second thought, he sends a team to escort the Kaze Daimyo from the capitol of Wind to the south of Silk for a meeting that does not go according to anyone's plan.
