Work Text:
Ran was cold. Actually, an understatement. Ran was freezing. The snowfall in Japan hit sooner than she expected, and neglected to take her winter clothes out for a particularly cold day. Beside her was her girlfriend, Moca Aoba. Unlike her, she had the foresight to get a warm jacket, a scarf and mittens, and a hat. Meanwhile all Ran wore was what she wore for fall.
She really needed to get better clothes.
“Hmm? Ran-chan, you’re shivering,” Moca noted, which Ran was not. She was totally not hugging her body for warmth, nope not at all.
“I-I’m f-fine, M-Moca,” the girl stammered out, failing to convince the bun-loving girl of that notion.
Moca suddenly started whining. “Guuuuuh, it’s too hot, I grabbed the wrong sweater.”
Ran looked at Moca in confusion. How was she hot all of a sudden? It’s so cold outside.
“W-what does that h-have to do with me?” she asked.
“Can you pretty please take it off?” Moca begged, cheeks pouting. “I’m gonna die of overheating here.”
Trying to seem reluctant, Ran pried the jacket off Moca’s body and, totally just not wanting to carry a jacket, slipped it on herself. She sighed as she began to feel warm.
Moca smiled, sure she’s the one freezing right now, but whatever could she do if her beloved Ran-chan was suffering?
Besides, they made it to the studio in one warm piece. Well, Ran did. Moca’s chest was frozen solid, but Babanbo-sama would never let a trusted devotee die.
They sung a rendition of “Baby, it’s Cold Outside” for fun that day.
