Work Text:

"Hyung, can I borrow your-" Jisung stops by his place on the door, arms holding the door to Seungmin, Hyunjin, and Minho's room open.

"My eyes are up here, Sungie." Minho rolls his eyes fondly, but not making any effort on covering his bare chest despite the blush that's starting to creep up to his face. "Why are you here? Chan hyung's gonna whoop your ass. He texted me that you're supposed to meet up with him and Changbin an hour ago- what the fuck are you doing."

Minho stares at him scandalize as he began taking off his shirt as well and Minho looks away quickly.

"Hyung, look!" Jisung exclaims and Minho shook his head. Jisung pouts and cups his cheeks, forcing him to look at the pouty squirreled boy. Minho finds the mole on the other's cheek so fascinating all of a sudden, refusing to move his eyes away from it. Jisung huffs again. "You act like you haven't seen me shirtless! Just look."

Jisung pointed at his chest just right above his heart (Minho blames the open window for the warmth on his face) and Minho finally looks down on it, eyebrows raising. "Okay. What am I supposed to be looking at?"

"I've got the same birthmark as you! Isn't that cool?" Jisung exclaims and Minho lets himself stare longer at the spot Jisung is pointing at. And huh. It is almost identical to the one in the middle of Minho's chest. Almost the same shape. Weird. Jisung's a copycat.

Jisung's fingers lightly grazes on his birthmark, mapping it out. "You know," he begins. "They say that birthmarks are indication of how we died in the past life."

Minho blinks and hums. "Reckon you were a vampire and the town folks put a wooden stake through your heart?"

"Actually that sounds so cool." Jisung nods. "Let's go with that, but what about yours?"

"A monster clawed out my heart."

"From the middle of your chest?"

"It was very bloody and gruesome, Jisung. Do not shame my death, have you got no respect?"

The bedroom door bursts out open once more, Hyunjin standing as he stares blankly at the two. He squints his eyes. "Why are you both shirtless and why is Jisung poking your chest?" There was an all too familar deep giggle behind him and Minho peeks and sees Felix waves at him.

"We're talking about birthmarks and our cool death story behind it. Want in on it?" Jisung answers, grin forming into his gummy smile.

"As long as I can keep my clothes on." Hyunjin sighs, moving inside their room and onto the vase right by the open window, carefully taking out his newly bought sunflowers.

"Birthmarks? I've got one of those." Felix says as he climbs on to Minho's bed. He lifts the back of shirt up to his nape and Jisung quickly scrambles to him to get a closer look.

"Woah, it's shaped like a scar!" Jisung wonders out loud.

Felix giggles as Jisung traces the mark as well. "It looks sick, no? How did you think I die?"

"A stab from behind?" Minho suggests.

Jisung clicks his tongue, shaking his head disappointingly. "What's with you and bloody deaths? I say he died from thunder struck."

"That's torture. And you don't say? Yours are literally a stake through the heart. It's messy." Minho retorts back.

Jisung lays down on Minho's bed as Felix stands up to help Hyunjin. "Yeah, but at least I was a vampire. I died a bloody but very awesome death. Stabbing is boring and bloody."

"Vampire bloodbath is much cooler than a normal stab, hyung." Hyunjin comments.

"Shut up, Hwang."

"What about you Jinnie?" Jisung asks. "Have any birthmarks?"

Hyunjin actually hums at that. "Not that I know of." He holds a sunflower up, giving it to Felix who immediately posed with it as Hyunjin takes pictures. "I love flowers. Maybe I was a fairy or an elf?"

"I'm sure you were a garden gnome or a forest goblin." Minho deadpans.

Hyunjin raises his eyebrows at him, hands on hips and looking like a disappointed mother whose white walls have been drawn by their three year old toddler. "And you're sure of this because?"

"I was the plant. The source: Trust me."

Jisung's already red in the face from laughing  "Wait," he exhales. "I thought you died because of a monster, hyung? Why were you a plant?"

"I was a plant that got reincarnated as human. I die very fast, probably. That's why your previous past lives are only a passing event in my own timeline."

Hyunjin's about to sass back when a loud voice booms out from the outside of the door before it flung open again, Chan standing as he scans the room before glaring at Jisung. Minho internally prays that their door hinges aren't broken.

"Hannie! Changbin and I are waiting for you and the lyrics we asked- why are the both of you shirtless?"

"Oh, here we go." Hyunjin sighs exasperatedly.

"Birthmarks and death stories about them." Felix answers plainly, before his face lights up as he goes to Chan and tugs him closer to the room. "He's got one as well, by the way, look!"

Felix pushes the hair on Chan's nape, revealing a small birthmark near the side of it, also seemingly like Felix's, but fainter and smaller.

"How did he die?"

Minho finally puts on a shirt. "Simple. He died when Jisung bit him and drank his blood as a vampire." Minho puts on a sweatshirt and moves towards the door. "Now everybody out, danceracha has a practice and you got tracks to finish."

Jisung flies past him excitedly, chatting with a confused but intrigued Chan. Something about vampires and blood.
