The Ghost King’s crimson red robes and the threatening glint of his silver scimitar clash with the pure white of Heaven, and several officials have already begun to scramble away in fear of what that menacing look could entail.
“What,” Hua Cheng starts quietly, lip twitching upwards into a sadistic smile, “could the lot of you trash be doing here, gathered around like useless baby ducks looking for their overworked mother?”
