Keith noticed Hunk smirking at Lance and Lance shaking his head in return, but couldn’t decipher what the whole interaction meant? Probably some inside joke.
The team moves along, it’s dark here, the only light source being these weird glowing carvings on the walls. No one dares touch them, who knows what it might trigger.
The last time they did, they ended up on the other side of the universe with an Alien princess.
So yeah.
After exploring for some time, they decide that it would be best to split up.
“Lance, you stay with Keith, Hunk you go with Pidge and I’ll go with Allura, ok?” Shiro leads.
Everyone nods to their leader and they all go in three different directions.
“hey, Keith… ” Lance whispers when they can’t hear the others anymore
“Yeah?”
“don’t you think this is too weird?”
“what do you mean? What’s weird?” Keith tilts his head in confusion
“I don’t know? I mean… everything?”
“.…”
“it’s just an intuition, I just have a bad feeling about this…”
“about this place?”
“yeah, these walls just look really creepy…don’t you think this place is too quiet? Like something just feels off..”
“hmmm, I don’t really see it, but I trust your intuition, let’s stay close and be alert for any kind of danger”
Lance nods.
They move forward and after a few turns, they arrive at a point where there are two tunnels ahead.
The right one is emitting warm gusts of winds but the lights on its walls get dimmer as one moves ahead and in the end, it’s pitch black and nothing is visible, on the other side,
The left one is even colder and the lights get brighter and brighter and it’s so bright that it’s hard to even look at it.
