Work Text:
“Alright, if you have any questions, feel free to stay behind and ask. If not, I bid you all a good weekend.”
Professor Mo gives a mock bow to his students, sparking a wave of giggles amongst the rustling of bags being packed up and students beginning to chatter.
Chu Wanning almost rolls his eyes. He stays behind, finishing up his lesson plans for the Intro to Engineering class he is supposed to teach later that week. A large line of students take up Mo Ran’s offer, crowding around the podium to ask him things that were clearly and concisely explained in the lecture slides.
Chu Wanning would know. He made those slides. Still, he could not exactly blame them.
Professor Mo teaches only two intro undergraduate classes, and his classes are always the first to fill up, its waitlist a kilometer long. Students flock to Sisheng University - located in a small city in the middle of nowhere - from all over the country especially for Mo Ran. Some come in hopes of working with him someday. Others come to see his charming smile in person.
Many people have asked Chu Wanning whether he asked Mo Ran to be his graduate advisor due to his work or his looks. Chu Wanning always shuts them up with a glare.
Of course it was because of Mo Ran’s work!
In fact, Chu Wanning had never even heard of Mo Ran until he had already been accepted to Sisheng. He chose Sisheng University because it was the least likely place Huaizui would look for him. A no-name university surrounded by farmland and mountains, a far cry from Beida or Tsinghua. Sometimes Chu Wanning gets a rush of satisfaction just thinking about Huaizui explaining to those colleagues of his how his prized son, with one of the highest gaokao scores in the province, had, in fact, not attended a school in any league anywhere but ran away and disappeared instead.
Sisheng is Chu Wanning’s key to freedom. Huaizui would never even think to look for him here.
It was merely a coincidence that there is also a successful, good-looking, young professor who happened to teach in Chu Wanning’s major. A professor who supports Chu Wanning’s ambitions instead of dismissing them, a professor who recognizes Chu Wanning’s hard work, a professor who never tells him to be more amiable or force him to put on a smile. A professor who allows him to work on personal projects into the late hours of the night, sometimes staying to keep him company.
Chu Wanning is not overly attached to Mo Ran at all. And if he is, so what? Is it not natural to be fond of the first person to show you a bit of kindness? It is not like Chu Wanning wants to marry him or something...
Chu Wanning slouches behind his laptop, for once hoping that Mo Ran’s face is drawing away the remaining students’ attention so that none of them see his red face.
He quickly finishes up his work, saves it, and then begins cleaning up. He had planned to stay behind to return Mo Ran’s USB drive, but after all those inappropriate thoughts, Chu Wanning can just return it next time.
“Wai~ Wanning, leaving in such a hurry? You forgot these.”
Chu Wanning turns around to see Mo Ran waving a stack of papers at him, grinning. Essays.
He does his best not to storm over. He reaches for the papers, but Mo Ran holds them out of his reach.
“Patience,” Mo Ran teases.
He turns back to the remaining three students - all girls, all making heart eyes. “Sorry, ladies. I’ve got something to discuss with Wanning here. Listen, shoot me an email, and I’ll do my best to explain it to you, alright?”
“Sure thing, Professor,” one of them chimes up. They turn to leave. “Have a good weekend, Professor Mo!”
Mo Ran waves after them. When the doors finally close, Mo Ran lowers his arm and taps the essays on Chu Wanning’s chest. Chu Wanning scowls at him.
“You’ll get wrinkles, Wanning,” Mo Ran says cheerfully. “And don’t look at me like that. You’re the one who offered to do them. I did say they could wait until next week.”
“I’ll do them,” Chu Wanning says. He takes the papers and sticks them between two random pages of his notebook. “If that’s all, Professor.”
“Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!” Mo Ran laughs, moving around the podium to grab something. “You’re sure in a hurry today, huh? Heading somewhere? If I recall, you never have stuff to do on weekends.”
“I want to go to the bookstore before it closes.”
“Uh-huh. ‘Bookstore’.”
Chu Wanning glares at him.
“I’m kidding, I’m kidding. Here.” Mo Ran pulls out a plastic container and hands it to Chu Wanning. “Cake.”
Chu Wanning squints at the cake suspiciously. Then, he turns the look onto Mo Ran.
“Aiya, some student bought it for me earlier, but you know I don’t like sweets that much. So I’m giving it to you.”
Chu Wanning’s suspicious look does not ease up. “This… doesn’t look store bought.” Considering the cake is stored in a reusable plastic food container, it is more likely homemade.
“That’s because I moved it into the container. She said she’d stop by later, so I threw the original box into the trash to make it look like I ate it,” Mo Ran explains easily with a wave of his hand. “Take it, Wanning, I know you want it.” He also places a metal spoon on top. “It’s mine, but I washed it.”
Chu Wanning sullenly takes the cake and spoon. “Have a good weekend, Professor Mo.”
His cheek twitches in an attempt to smile. It feels awkward and probably looks weird, so his face turns red instead. In the end, Chu Wanning settles for an embarrassed frown. Mo Ran laughs.
“You too, Wanning. And get some rest. I’ll see you on Monday.”
The walk to the bookstore is not a long one, but Chu Wanning takes his time and the longer path. He has his wireless earbuds in, and he slowly eats his cake as he walks.
The park is empty, as it is around dinner time, and it is getting rather cold at this time of year. But Chu Wanning prefers it this way, even though his hands hurt from the cold.
When Chu Wanning is alone, he is almost always listening to something with his earbuds. Most people assume that it is classical music. Some joke that Chu Wanning could be fond of heavy metal. They are all wrong, of course.
Chu Wanning does not listen to music when he is alone. He listens to audio dramas. Audio dramas of the explicit men-kissing-men variety.
Specifically, Chu Wanning listens to audio dramas for one voice actor, except that voice actor only does gay dramas. Taxian-Jun is his stage name. No one knows his real name, or what he looks like. His voice is rather infamous among VAs though - deep, smooth, dangerous, a wonderfully sexy rumble in Chu Wanning’s ear.
Needless to say, those audio dramas provide a lot of material for his spring dreams. And if anyone found out, Chu Wanning would literally throw himself off the nearest bridge in shame, which is why he only ever listens to it while alone.
Today, however, the specific episode Chu Wanning had playing in his ears was focused on the other male lead, so Taxian-Jun had few lines. This gives Chu Wanning’s thoughts a chance to wander.
And they wander right back to the gifter of the cake Chu Wanning is eating.
Chu Wanning taps the spoon against his cold lips, absently licking some frosting off of them.
Mo Ran had used this spoon. Maybe he used it a lot. After all, Mo Ran is a fan of eating spicy noodles and wontons. He could use a spoon to drink the soup afterwards… but he seems to be the type to just pick up the entire bowl. Still, why else would he have a spoon on him?
Chu Wanning scrapes up some of the frosting left on the side of the container. Then, Chu Wanning runs the tip of his tongue from the base of the spoon to the tip, flicking the tiny bit of frosting away. He savors the taste, then freezes.
He quickly stuffs the spoon into the container and puts the lid back on, furious at himself. How absolutely shameless! In public, no less! What the hell was he thinking?!
At the same time, Taxian-Jun croons in his ear, “Stay still, you want to be a good boy for me, don’t you?”
Chu Wanning rips his earbuds out and stuffs them away into his bag along with the container. He storms the rest of the way to the bookstore, mentally reciting math equations to himself like a mantra.
The bookstore is warm. Chu Wanning, finally out of the cold, lets out a long breath and closes his eyes for a moment. He takes a second to compose himself before heading into the back corner, where the new arrivals are.
Chu Wanning browses some of the titles and picks out a few that piques his interest. When the bookstore makes an announcement that they are closing in 15 minutes, Chu Wanning chooses the two he wants to buy and starts heading towards the front.
He turns the corner around a tall bookshelf and runs forehead first into someone’s shoulder.
Chu Wanning is knocked off balance. He reaches out to grab the edge of the bookshelf to catch himself, causing his books to fall. He immediately glares up at the person he ran into.
Chu Wanning’s face changes a variety of colors, none of them particularly nice. “You- Did you follow me here?”
Mo Ran, somehow wearing a completely different set of clothes, chuckles in a low voice. He leans down. “I’m sure I’d remember if I were following a pretty thing like you.”
That laugh. That voice.
Chu Wanning’s brain screeches to a complete halt. It tries rewinding. The tape gets stuck. Someone starts pulling the film out of the tape. Now blank, Chu Wanning’s brain does not know what to do or say.
“Cat’s suddenly got your tongue?”
Not-Mo-Ran stoops down and picks up Chu Wanning’s books. He looks them over and smirks, as if he found a funny joke in Chu Wanning’s choice of reading material. He places them on top of each other and taps them on Chu Wanning’s chest, an echo of the way Professor Mo had tapped those essays less than an hour ago.
NotMoRannotMoRannotMoRannotMoRannot-
“Eloquent, aren’t you, kitten?”
Not-Mo-Ran reaches down and takes Chu Wanning’s wrist. Chu Wanning’s breathing quickens. He folds Chu Wanning’s arm and tucks the books into the crook.
He flashes Chu Wanning one last smirk before walking away.
Chu Wanning ends up standing there until the manager tells him the store is closing. So he ends up standing outside the store, two books less. His brain is still slowly trying to get back up to speed on what had just happened.
That man… had the same face as his Professor Mo Ran. Yet that voice is unmistakably the one that haunts Chu Wanning’s heated dreams. Not to mention, there was no recognition in Not-Mo-Ran’s eyes, so…
Chu Wanning had just met Taxian-Jun.
And he was Professor Mo’s twin brother.
He is tied up.
He is wearing nothing but a pair of tight black briefs, strung up by silk ties, unable to move. Chu Wanning can feel the chill of the room against his bare skin, the silk rubbing against his wrists and thighs and chest. The room is dark, save for a single, dim light that shines down from above Chu Wanning.
He tries calling out for help, but nothing comes out of his mouth.
Suddenly, a large, warm hand touches his waist, causing Chu Wanning to jump.
“Wanning, ah, Wanning, must you make me do everything? Such a spoiled little kitten.” The voice rumbles in Chu Wanning’s ear from somewhere behind him. The hand rubs along his hip, leaving hot trails everywhere it touches.
Chu Wanning shivers. He opens his mouth to protest. He is not spoiled. But his voice still does not work.
“Wanning isn’t spoiled.” Another voice comes from farther off, growing louder as the person nears. “He’s extremely hard working and very cute. Especially when you tempt him with the things he likes. He just can’t resist, right, Wanning?”
The second voice steps into the light. Mo Ran smiles at him, his eyes squinting into crescents, his dimples deep enough for Chu Wanning to drink the sweetest nectar out of.
Chu Wanning’s heart starts beating faster.
“Are you cold, Wanning?” Mo Ran asks. He starts to take off his coat.
“He doesn’t need your sweaty clothes.” The first voice steps into the light as well. Chu Wanning makes a silent noise of confusion. The person wears the same face as Mo Ran. But this is Taxian-Jun.
Taxian-Jun’s eyes seem to grow darker as he looks Chu Wanning up and down hungrily. This entire time, his hand has never parted from Chu Wanning’s skin.
“Why would you hide such beauty from the world?” Taxian-Jun asks in a low rasp. “Especially when the world is just you and I, kitten… you’re all mine.”
Chu Wanning’s heart beats even faster. This is getting to be too much.
“Oh? Is kitten interested in something I said?” Taxian-Jun’s gaze has shifted downwards, staring at the growing bulge in Chu Wanning’s briefs.
Chu Wanning whines and tries closing his legs, but the silk holds them apart.
“Don’t look at him like he is something to devour,” Mo Ran chides, throwing his coat over Chu Wanning’s body, thankfully covering his shame.
Mo Ran moves behind him, adjusting the coat to cover Chu Wanning’s shoulders as well.
“Are you okay, Wanning?” Mo Ran whispers in Chu Wanning’s ear. “Don’t listen to him. You don’t have to be ashamed.”
Mo Ran’s words sound comforting. Except for the fact that his hands are gripping Chu Wanning’s thighs under the coat! Dangerously close to Chu Wanning’s said shame! And moving closer by the second!
“Tch, Mo Ran, you hypocrite,” Taxian-Jun grumbles. “Just because you graduated from university and know how to sweet talk…” He steps between Chu Wanning’s spread legs, gripping Chu Wanning’s hips.
Taxian-Jun pulls, grinding Chu Wanning’s arousal against his own heavy bulge.
And god, that thing is huge.
“But sweet talking only goes so far with horny sluts like this little one. My dirty mouth can do so much more .”
Chu Wanning’s mouth falls open as the pleasure crescendos. His head falls back onto Mo Ran’s shoulder. Mo Ran’s grip tightens on his thighs, practically grabbing his ass now.
Taxian-Jun leans forward, his hot breath in Chu Wanning’s other ear.
The twins speak at the same time:
“I’ll bring you unimaginable pleasure, kitten.”
“Wanning, I’ll make sure you never feel alone.”
Chu Wanning startles awake to his blaring alarm.
He is achingly hard in his pants, and he feels no more rested than when he went to bed a few hours ago. It has been like this for the past week. Every night, he goes to bed and is tormented with images of those twins, and he wakes up without any relief.
Chu Wanning closes his eyes again, his alarm still ringing in the background.
He waits until his arousal has gone down before he reaches over to turn it off. Then, Chu Wanning drags himself out of bed.
Chu Wanning realizes with a jolt that it is Friday again. Friday is when shipments of new books arrive at his favorite bookstore. The same bookstore Chu Wanning ran into Taxian-Jun last time.
Chu Wanning debates whether or not to go this week.
He debates back and forth all day. Finally, he decides that he is not going to let Taxian-Jun take away one of the few joys in his life. So after he said good-bye to Mo Ran (who thankfully does not question Chu Wanning’s quick disappearance), Chu Wanning speed-walks to the bookstore.
Not because he is scared of missing Taxian-Jun. Not because he cares whether Taxian-Jun will be there at all!
The more Chu Wanning thinks about Taxian-Jun, the more irritable he feels (and the faster his heart beats).
Chu Wanning stays in the bookstore until closing. He walks down every single aisle several times. He never catches a single glimpse of Taxian-Jun.
The next week is the same.
As is the week after that.
And the one after that.
Chu Wanning feels stupid.
No one is as boring and without a life as Chu Wanning is, to visit a bookstore every single week because the highlight of his weeks are the new shipment of books. Books that he has left the bookstore without buying for weeks already.
And not only is that souring his mood, but Mo Ran has taken notice too!
In the last week, Mo Ran has tried offering Chu Wanning cakes three times. And he lessened Chu Wanning’s workload, insisting that Chu Wanning should go home and sleep instead. But little does he know, Chu Wanning does not need sleep! Chu Wanning needs to work to keep his mind off of Taxian-Jun and Mo Ran. If he sleeps, he will most certainly dream about something inappropriate again!
It gets to the point where Chu Wanning starts telling himself that he imagined it all. There is no way he ran into Taxian-Jun in some hole-in-the-wall bookshop in the middle of a tiny city in a sea of farmland.
Taxian-Jun is a semi-famous VA! He surely has more important stuff to do instead of just hanging around books. In fact, Chu Wanning seems to remember seeing someone on Weibo say that Taxian-Jun is currently vacationing in Guilin or something.
And in a desperate attempt to prove himself right, Chu Wanning turns to the internet.
He feels like an absolute stalker, looking up what little public information there is about Taxian-Jun. When he exhausted his sources (the man is quite elusive, actually), Chu Wanning turns to digging up dirt on his own professor. There is a lot more public information on Mo Ran, primarily research papers and academic awards and the such. He apparently had a shirtless modeling phase through part of college. The further back he goes though, the less there is.
It seems that before Mo Ran went to university, he was a ghost.
The only thing Chu Wanning can dig up is a picture from a local newspaper from some town in Sichuan. About a fire in an apartment building which killed 34 people, leaving several kids orphaned. Chu Wanning squints at the picture. The five kids in the picture have sooty faces with tear tracks running down their cheeks.
A couple of them are gnawing on some bread. Others just look into the camera, lost and hopeless.
Chu Wanning cannot tell if any of them are Mo Ran or Taxian-Jun. He only knows from the article that two of the kids were siblings.
Next Friday is particularly gloomy. He briefly considers heading back to his apartment instead of going to the bookstore. But as Chu Wanning walks past the bookstore, he catches a glimpse of a dark head of hair and a leather jacket thrown over a broad shoulder.
His feet steer him through the bookstore door before he gets a chance to properly see if it is Taxian-Jun or not.
When the bells on the door jingle, announcing Chu Wanning’s entrance, the person turns.
Dark eyes light up in recognition, lips curling into a grin.
“Well, well, well,” Taxian-Jun says, leaning against the bookshelf. “Hello there, kitten.”
Chu Wanning stands a good few feet away, critically looking Taxian-Jun up and down. This man definitely looks like his professor. Except paler maybe.
“Are you going to say anything this time? You clearly want to say something to me.”
Chu Wanning’s mouth opens and closes a few times. He huffs quietly to himself.
“You-” He snaps his mouth shut.
“Uh-huh,” Taxian-Jun says, eyes glittering with mirth. He takes a few steps closer. “You’re turning quite red, kitten. Do you see something you like?”
“I was looking at the books,” Chu Wanning snaps, averting his eyes pointedly towards the bookshelves. He glares hard at The Romance of the Three Kingdoms: Abridged Version.
“Kitten, you wound me.” He moves himself right back into Chu Wanning’s focus. “Am I not better looking than the books?”
“Why are you getting so close?” Chu Wanning finds it hard to breathe. He can smell Taxian-Jun from here. He… smells good. Like warm leather. He briefly wonders what Mo Ran smells like.
“Kitten, why don’t you tell me your name?” Taxian-Jun whispers, leaning downwards to speak in Chu Wanning’s ear.
Chu Wanning grits his teeth, putting a hand on Taxian-Jun’s chest to keep him back. His efforts are futile. “I don’t know your name either so why should I tell you mine?”
“Oho? Kitten wants to know my name, hm?” Taxian-Jun sounds exceedingly pleased, practically purring.
“Can you- Can you just speak normally ?!” Chu Wanning finally snaps out, his face heated. “Just because you do that for your job doesn’t mean you have to do that in real life too!”
There is a long pause. Then, Taxian-Jun laughs, the sound as deep and as sexy as Chu Wanning has heard through his earbuds almost every day.
“So, you’re a fan of my work?” At Chu Wanning’s flinch, Taxian-Jun laughs. “Did I guess correctly? Well, well, well, I certainly would not have expected it from a demure thing like you…”
Chu Wanning is so angry he cannot see straight. He shoves at Taxian-Jun’s chest, finally making the other man step backwards.
“Kitten-”
“I’m not a cat!” Chu Wanning all but screams in the tiny bookshop. What few patrons were in the shop stop talking, and a suffocating silence settles over the room.
Unable to take it, Chu Wanning runs for the door.
The little bells jingle as he disappears into the rain.
Chu Wanning does not make it very far. He dashes across the street and ducks under an awning of a storefront. The twenty second run through the rain has left him drenched and freezing cold. He had splashed through all the deep puddles, soaking his shoes, socks, and pants.
But he only semi-regrets running out like that. The cold rain has helped in clearing his head.
The skies rumble above him, and Chu Wanning crouches down onto the ground, hugging his knees to his chest to stop from shivering.
A few minutes pass. He wonders if he should call a cab home. He cannot afford to catch a cold now. He did not have money for a cab so he would have to call…
Chu Wanning scowls to himself. Of course now he regrets not making friends. The only people in his contacts are his professors. And he is not going to let any of them see him like this.
Then, Chu Wanning hears footsteps approaching him. They stop right beside him. A heavy, warm jacket is placed over his shoulders.
“You sure are troublesome, kitten,” Taxian-Jun laughs. “Running out into the rain like that… you seeking death? Or were you expecting me to run after you?”
Chu Wanning can smell the smoke he just exhaled. Chu Wanning’s eyebrow twitches in annoyance.
“Put that out,” he growls.
“I don’t want to,” Taxian-Jun snipes right back.
“It’s bad for you,” Chu Wanning says, clenching his teeth so that they do not chatter.
Taxian-Jun takes a pointedly long drag from his cigarette. “ No . Why do you care anyway, kitten?”
Chu Wanning gives him a side-glare. “You’re a voice actor, aren’t you?! Aren’t you supposed to take care of your voice?”
Taxian-Jun sits down, chuckling in a low voice. Then, he leans over, speaking directly into Chu Wanning’s ear. “This voice?”
Chu Wanning shivers. He has heard Taxian-Jun say the dirtiest things in his ear before, but it has never been accompanied by a hot breath, the smell of heady smoke, or the heavy weight of a jacket before.
“Kitten, you’re so cute,” Taxian-Jun smirks. “And so honest.”
Chu Wanning bristles. He raises his head to snap something back at Taxian-Jun. But Taxian-Jun never gives him the chance.
The older man grabs his chin and seals their mouths together. He squeezes Chu Wanning’s cheeks, forcing his mouth open and breathes the smoke out into Chu Wanning’s mouth.
Chu Wanning coughs and pushes Taxian-Jun away.
“Y-You-!”
Taxian-Jun grins and licks his lips, still looking at Chu Wanning with predatory eyes. “That’s just the deposit.”
“D-Deposit?!” Chu Wanning scrubs at his lips with his wet sleeve.
“Sure. For giving you a ride home. Don’t worry, I’ll give it back to you later,” Taxian-Jun laughs, winking.
Chu Wanning grits his teeth tightly. He is not sure how to respond. I don’t want your stupid kiss back, is a bit too presumptuous. I don’t need you to give me a ride, ignores the latter half of what Taxian-Jun said. I need you to leave me the hell alone , straight to the point and expresses Chu Wanning’s boiling anger. Not bad.
“I need you to give me a stupid kiss !!”
…
…
…
Chu Wanning is already thinking of the quickest death he can get. His soul has already left his body anyway. Hopefully a car will come barrelling around the corner and save his thin face from ever having to see the light of day again.
But no car comes around.
He can distinctly feel Taxian-Jun sitting next to him though.
Maybe if he closes his eyes for long enough, Taxian-Jun will think he is asleep and just leave. Yeah, that is a good plan.
Chu Wanning stubbornly sits there with his eyes shut. He can feel Taxian-Jun smiling at him, probably gleefully, just waiting for Chu Wanning to open his eyes. Well, no one out-stubborns Chu Wanning.
A minute passes. Two minutes. Five. Just as Chu Wanning is about to count ten minutes, with Taxian-Jun still sitting there , he hears a light chuckle.
Taxian-Jun stands up, dusting off his pants. Chu Wanning still does not look nor does he move. “Fine, I’ll let you take a rain check on that ride, kitten, and in exchange, I’ll take a raincheck on that kiss you want so badly.”
Chu Wanning wishes for a speeding car again.
Large hands adjust the jacket on his shoulders. “Make sure you get home safe, okay? It’d be a shame if we don’t get to run into each other again. I haven’t quite had my fill yet.”
Taxian-Jun actually leaves. Chu Wanning waits for a long time before opening his eyes again to an empty street.
His lips still tingle with the lingering taste of smoke.
“Open up, kitten,” Taxian-Jun croons into Chu Wanning’s mouth. “That’s it, give me that mouth of yours… so sharp yet so sweet.”
Chu Wanning squeezes his eyes shut, his face burning red.
“Don’t look away now,” Taxian-Jun laughs. “The best part is about to begin.”
He practically devours Chu Wanning in a kiss. It is sinfully wet and unbearably hot. Chu Wanning feels like his brain is melting out of his ears. How could Taxian-Jun kiss so well? How much practice has he had? Chu Wanning must be a bumbling fool in comparison.
Suddenly Taxian-Jun pulls back. Chu Wanning’s mouth is left hanging open, his tongue suddenly sitting like a dumb rock in his mouth without Taxian-Jun guiding him.
“Kitten, now that we’ve warmed up, why don’t you show me what you’ve learned?”
“Wh-What?”
Chu Wanning finds himself on his knees, facing down Taxian-Jun’s legs. And the prominent bulge in his pants.
Taxian-Jun’s hand runs through his hair and along his jaw as Chu Wanning practically goes cross-eyed looking at Taxian-Jun’s pants.
“Open up, kitten,” Taxian-Jun orders again.
Chu Wanning’s mouth is already slack. It falls open a little more.
“Just that like,” Taxian-Jun whispers. “I’m going to teach you a life skill right now, kitten. So pay attention.”
He unbuckles his belt and reaches for the zipper of his pants. Chu Wanning feels his face growing hotter. Is he- Is he really going to see Taxian-Jun’s… his… c…ock?
A hot spike of shame courses through him, and Chu Wanning goes to look away.
“Ah, ah, kitten. What did I tell you?” Taxian-Jun scolds lightly. “ Look.”
Chu Wanning turns his eyes back reluctantly. The pants fall open. Chu Wanning can see a clear outline of Taxian-Jun cock in his underwear now. Taxian-Jun reaches for the waistband and-
“Oh my god, Wanning, are you okay?!”
Chu Wanning snaps his mouth shut with an audible click. His chin feels wet- He had been drooling while thinking about the dream he had last night.
Chu Wanning flushes hard.
“I’m fine,” he grits out at Mo Ran, who had stooped down to help Chu Wanning collect the papers he had dropped.
Mo Ran reaches over to feel Chu Wanning’s forehead. Chu Wanning flinches from his touch.
Mo Ran’s eyes widen in surprise. “Wanning-”
“I said I’m fine, Professor,” Chu Wanning insists. He stands up, swaying on his feet for a second. “I’m fine,” he repeats, more to himself than to Mo Ran.
“Maybe you should go home,” Mo Ran starts. “I know you planned to stay late tonight to work on your project but-”
“I’m okay,” Chu Wanning says again, firmer and with a glare. “I still want to work tonight.”
Mo Ran gives him a dubious look. Finally, he smiles. “Fine, but only if you let me stay with you. In case you collapse again.”
“I’ll be okay. Professor doesn’t need to bother.”
“What bother? I get to spend time with my Wanning and ease my worry. I’ll bring dinner.”
Chu Wanning almost rolls his eyes, but his face grows red from being called Mo Ran’s Wanning and from Mo Ran admitting that he worries. Chu Wanning nods very briefly, just once.
Mo Ran grins at him, and Chu Wanning’s heart flip flops.
His professor wears the exact same face as Taxian-Jun and yet the two of them are so different. One makes Chu Wanning’s blood boil (downwards) while the other makes his heart beat so fast he feels breathless. Both are extremely attractive in their own ways, and Chu Wanning is unable to pull himself from either of their grasps.
He feels like a fish biting on two lures that are being pulled in opposite directions.
He is losing sleep over it, more than he was before when it had just been Mo Ran.
Back then, Chu Wanning could ignore it. He was not good enough to be Mo Ran’s equal, and he never will be with his shitty personality. It was a blessing to be able to work with him and study under him at all. Chu Wanning had long since accepted that. He should have easily been able to shut down that crush, except Mo Ran was so nice to him. Chu Wanning, who had few people show him kindness for the sake of being kind, was beyond gone.
Then Taxian-Jun walked into the picture. He had the advantage of wearing a face Chu Wanning was already in love with and having a voice that Chu Wanning was also in love with. They have spoken twice and yet, Chu Wanning has already let him nestle into his heart.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Chu Wanning really is just looking to be hurt twice over.
Later that night, Chu Wanning slips into an empty lab, wheeling his personal project in with him. Tianwen is an AI, whom Chu Wanning is attempting to teach to hold proper conversations with humans. Well, that is, after he finishes building the robot.
Chu Wanning has spent many late nights tinkering on Tianwen, both with and without the company of Mo Ran.
Chu Wanning begins working as he waits.
An hour later, Mo Ran still has not shown up. Chu Wanning frowns. Perhaps Mo Ran forgot? Though, he almost always shows up and is punctual at that.
He pulls out his phone to shoot Mo Ran a text. He wonders what he should say.
Coincidentally, Mo Ran texts him first.
Chu Wanning’s mood plummets after reading the text.
sry wanning, family emergency, can’t make it tonight T-T
It is fine, of course. Emergencies happen. Chu Wanning tells himself that he will just work on his own tonight.
He fiddles around with Tianwen for twenty minutes but is not productive. Unable to concentrate properly, Chu Wanning decides to call it an early night. He packs up Tianwen and stores the robot away before locking up the lab. He begins his walk home, hands shoved deep into his pockets.
The street begins filling with more and more people as Chu Wanning arrives in a busier part of the town. There are students shopping or heading to dinner with friends, co-workers getting drinks together, a couple little kids begging their mom for ice cream.
It is all so normal .
Chu Wanning feels awkwardly out of place even on the street. His white clothes and his unapproachable face makes people give him a wider berth than necessary. The little kids quiet and look at him as if he would chide them for whining.
Chu Wanning walks past a fancy restaurant’s window and glances at his reflection in the glass. His eyebrows furrow in a concentrated attempt to make himself appear more open. He only looks angrier.
He sighs and is about to turn away when his eyes meet someone else’s inside the restaurant.
It is Mo Ran.
Mo Ran’s eyebrows shoot up when he sees Chu Wanning.
Chu Wanning freezes, his blood going cold. Not because he met Mo Ran’s eyes, no. It is just that… the person Mo Ran is sitting across from is most likely Taxian-Jun.
Family emergency, can’t make it tonight.
From what Chu Wanning has gathered, the twins do not know that the other knows Chu Wanning. Chu Wanning feels sick at the idea of them even finding out.
Mo Ran would be so disgusted knowing that Chu Wanning had kissed his twin brother, who had the same face as him. Chu Wanning’s feelings would definitely be discovered. And Taxian-Jun would find out that Chu Wanning is disgusting and despicable, approaching him because he happened to be in love with his professor, Taxian-Jun’s own brother.
Mo Ran starts mouthing something at Chu Wanning, but Chu Wanning does not wait to read his lips. He has to make a run for it before Taxian-Jun turns around and sees him too.
Chu Wanning sprints the rest of the way home, and he disappears before he could see how Mo Ran had charged out of the restaurant after him.
Mo Ran emails him after Chu Wanning misses just one class. He asks if Chu Wanning is doing okay. Of course, Chu Wanning does not answer him.
Chu Wanning’s mind is busy running worst case scenarios at a hundred kilometers an hour.
- Mo Ran finds out about his disgusting crush and transfers Chu Wanning away.
- Mo Ran finds out, transfers him, and tells Taxian-Jun.
- Mo Ran finds out, transfers him, tells Taxian-Jun, and Taxian-Jun tells about Chu Wanning’s “hobbies”.
- Mo Ran finds out, transfers him, tells Taxian-Jun, finds out about Chu Wanning’s hobbies, and then calls Chu Wanning disgusting, once again reaffirming that Chu Wanning’s crush is utterly hopeless and breaks his heart.
- All of the above, but Taxian-Jun does the same thing and now Chu Wanning has a double broken heart.
Logically, Chu Wanning knows that it is unlikely the twins will find out. After all, Mo Ran does not know Chu Wanning likes listening to Taxian-Jun’s works and Taxian-Jun does not even know his name. He also knows Mo Ran is a little oblivious to other people’s feelings (especially romantic ones, but Chu Wanning thanks the heavens and earth for that) and if he is lucky, Taxian-Jun will be too.
To be acting like this, essentially hiding , it is childish, to say the least.
That night, Chu Wanning is in the middle of washing up the last softening apple as his dinner when there is a knock on the door.
At first, Chu Wanning thinks he must have misheard his neighbor’s door as his own. After all, no one visits him. But then the knock comes once more, a bit more urgently.
So Chu Wanning puts down the apple and heads to the door. He peeks through the peephole.
Mo Ran stands on the other side.
“Wanning, open up, I know you’re there. I heard your slippers,” Mo Ran calls.
Chu Wanning opens the door a tiny crack. “What are you doing here, Professor Mo?”
Mo Ran gives him a once over. Then, he gives Chu Wanning a helpless little smile. “You… weren’t in class today, and you ignored my email.”
“I wasn’t ignoring it,” Chu Wanning mumbles. “I just didn’t get around to answering it yet.”
“Now, I know that’s not true, you answer your emails as soon as you read them,” Mo Ran says. “Also, can I ask why Mengmeng- Professor Xue knows your address, but I don’t? Your favorite professor? You don’t know the atrocious price I had to pay for your address, Wanning! Your Xue-laoshi is convinced that I’ve got evil, impure intentions towards you or something…”
Mo Ran trails off at Chu Wanning’s glare.
“Look, Wanning, I’m seriously just here to check on you. I… I’m sorry for lying last time. I mean, it was a family emergency, but that guy’s definition of emergency isn’t really… I really didn’t mean to, it’s kinda a complicated situation, but I swear there’s a good explanation if you just hear me out. See, that guy’s actually my br-”
Ah. So Mo Ran thought Chu Wanning had run away because he thought he had caught Mo Ran ditching him for a date or something. What a silly professor he has, but thankfully so. It means that Chu Wanning’s secrets were still safe.
“I forgive you.”
“-other, and apparently he’s in town for a few days, and he didn’t- eh?”
Chu Wanning shrugs. “Is that all? I’m about to have dinner.”
Mo Ran’s expression somehow becomes more sheepish. “Wanning, ah… you sound mad. Can I come in?”
Chu Wanning bristles. “Why? I already said it’s fine. I didn’t come in today because I was not feeling well, but I will be at the next class. I’m sure you are busy too, so… good night, Professor Mo.”
Chu Wanning starts to close the door. Mo Ran wedges his foot instead and places one hand on the door, stopping him.
“Wanning-”
Chu Wanning shoves at the door harder. “Professor… please go, it’s late,” he grunts.
“Chu Wanning, please just let me in so we can talk properly-”
“There’s nothing to talk about, Professor! This is extremely unprofessional. What if someone sees you at my house so late-”
“-I’m just checking up on my student, there’s nothing wrong with that, now open the door-”
Suddenly, there is a hard shove, sending the door bursting open. Chu Wanning falls backwards on his ass.
Someone crouches down in front of him.
“I was wondering which student of his is so precious that he made me drive all the way down here so that he can check up on him.”
Chu Wanning almost scrambles back.
No.
“Hello again, kitten,” Taxian-Jun smirks at him. He stands and holds out a hand for Chu Wanning.
Chu Wanning does not take it and stands quickly. He takes a few steps back.
Mo Ran takes this chance to step inside and close the door behind them. “Wait, how do you know Wanning?” Mo Ran asks accusingly, shoving a finger into Taxian-Jun’s chest. Suddenly his eyes go wide, glancing at Chu Wanning. “He didn’t say anything weird to you, did he?”
Taxian-Jun rolls his eyes before sending a wink in Chu Wanning’s direction. “Nothing Wanning didn’t enjoy,” he brags.
“You fucker-”
“The sounds that come from that mouth of his,” Taxian-Jun growls, stepping closer. “Absolutely filthy … you’d almost think he’s having the time of his life, being devoured.”
He reaches forward to drag a thumb across Chu Wanning’s lower lip. Chu Wanning turns his head away harshly, his face burning bright red.
He tries his best not to react. This is literally the worst of the worst of the worst case scenarios that could be happening right now.
Mo Ran knows . Oh god, Mo Ran knows- Chu Wanning is going to throw up.
He has to go. Now.
Mo Ran and Taxian-Jun are blocking the main exit, but Chu Wanning had opened the kitchen window, which led to the fire escape.
He tries making a run for it.
He gets one leg out of the window before Mo Ran is dragging him back inside by the waist.
“No! Wanning, what the hell are you doing?! It’s slippery out there and you’re wearing- you’re wearing slippers! ”
“Let go! Let go of me!” Chu Wanning yells, kicking and screaming, not caring about decorum because he is about to die of mortification.
“Kitten, calm down,” Taxian-Jun says, his voice as serious as Chu Wanning has ever heard him. “There’s no need to run.”
Well, like hell Chu Wanning is about to stay!
Mo Ran finally manages to drag him back inside despite Chu Wanning’s fighting. He sits down on the ground, forcing Chu Wanning into his lap.
Chu Wanning is still struggling. This is even more embarrassing than before! He does not need to be restrained! He just needs to get out of there! Away from them!
“Stop struggling, Wanning,” Mo Ran warns.
“Then let go of me! You- You-”
“Chu Wanning, stop.”
Chu Wanning is feeling particularly wronged. Why should he stop? He is the one being held down in his own home! He squirms just a little harder and-
Mo Ran sighs. “Wanning…”
Chu Wanning can feel it against his ass. It is only half hard and already it feels too large to be real.
“You- Let me go!!”
Chu Wanning, face redder than it has ever been before, struggles with all his might. Does he have any more face to lose at this point?
But Taxian-Jun kneels in front of him and catches his hands. He forces them down with just one of his own. Unable to struggle further, Chu Wanning stills in favor of glaring.
Mo Ran sighs heavily, now fully hard with a lap full of a squirmy young man.
“What do you want?” Chu Wanning hisses.
“I just want an explanation,” Mo Ran says gently, silently willing his cock to go down. An extremely difficult task with Chu Wanning in his lap and in his arms.
“What’s there to explain? Let me go.”
“Wanning, no, you’ll just run again. Please?”
Chu Wanning is silent. Mo Ran cannot see his face, but he sees when Chu Wanning’s shoulders sag just the tiniest bit.
“ He … did it first,” Chu Wanning eventually spits out. He tries running again, but Mo Ran holds him tight.
“I did not,” Taxian-Jun says with a roll of his eyes. At Chu Wanning’s vicious glare, he hesitates. “Okay, maybe I surprised him with a kiss, but I didn’t know you’d laid some claim on him. He practically wandered into my lap like a lost kitten.”
Now it is Mo Ran’s turn to glare viciously at his twin. “Weiyu… I thought you were having fun in the big city? Why did you come all this way to bother me anyway?”
Mo Weiyu, as Chu Wanning finally found out, shrugs. “Bored. In between jobs. I wanted to see how RanRan’s life was.” Then he grins. “Hey, did you know your little Wanning here is a big fan of mine? He can probably recognize me by my voice alone, am I right?” He wiggles his eyebrows at Chu Wanning.
Chu Wanning flushes and looks away.
“Wanning…?” Mo Ran sounds a bit lost. Turns out he did not know his precious Chu Wanning as well as he thought he did.
“Tch, looks like the little lamb isn’t so innocent after all. Hey, Wanning, do you ever masturbate to my voice?” Mo Weiyu asks with an exaggerated smirk, leaning in really, really close.
Chu Wanning can smell the scent of warm leather again, and this time, without the smoke. He wants to bury himself in that smell as if it were a large blanket.
“Wanning, what are you doing?” Mo Ran’s alarmed voice cut through Chu Wanning’s thoughts like a hot knife. He had been unconsciously leaning in.
Mo Ran’s arms tightened around Chu Wanning’s waist, pulling Chu Wanning flush to his own chest.
“Hey, if you like him so much, then what about me?” Mo Ran’s voice had also dropped low and dangerous all of a sudden. Chu Wanning had to briefly glance over his shoulder to make sure the twins had not switched places somehow.
He blinks several times. Mo Ran did not just say what Chu Wanning thought he did.
“Do you like me too, Wanning?” Mo Ran’s lips are right by Chu Wanning’s ear now. “Say it, Wanning, tell me.”
“Hey, I got to him first, he’s mine,” Mo Weiyu complains, tugging on Chu Wanning’s wrists and forcing him forward.
Mo Ran moves his arms, locking one around Chu Wanning’s chest. “I was waiting until he graduated ,” he growls.
“Well, in the meantime, he’s free for the taking, no? Sorry, brother, he’s not your Wanning anymore.”
Mo Weiyu’s eyes flash darkly, looking almost purple. His grin looks just a bit dangerous, a little crazy. Chu Wanning cannot stop staring because why is that kind of hot?
Also, just as his stumbling mind managed to catch up to reality, Mo Ran just said he was waiting for Chu Wanning to graduate to… to do what?
Chu Wanning must be going crazy too.
“Mo Weiyu.” Now Mo Ran sounds scary and dangerous too. “I always let you have what you want. You wanted anonymity for your job, so I quit modeling. You wanted to be mysterious, so I never said you were my brother. When Shi Mei needed a roommate, I let you move in with him and I moved out here into the fuck middle of nowhere, and now you’re back trying to steal my Wanning!”
Chu Wanning’s mind screeches to a halt.
Mo Ran definitely just claimed him in front of his twin brother. Who was also trying to claim him. Chu Wanning’s eyebrows begin to furrow.
“I’m right here, you know?” he snaps, irritated.
Immediately, Mo Ran takes this chance to pull him back into his chest. “Wanning,” he murmurs, burying his face into Chu Wanning’s neck.
Chu Wanning stiffens. This is. A lot of. Physical contact. Very suddenly.
“You’ll choose me, right?” Mo Ran asks, his words almost a plea. “I wanted to do this properly, take you out on dates and get to know all your likes and dislikes before asking anything of you, but since he’s forcing my hand… Wanning, as your professor, I’m sorry. I’ve failed you in a way. I… took interest in the way you acted all grumpy and unapproachable, but you would blush when you were praised and how you love sweets and how diligent of a worker you are.”
“Stop it,” Chu Wanning hisses, wiggling his arms and trying to break free. “Stop talking!”
“No, I want you to know that I was- am wrong to be holding these kinds of romantic feelings for you, and please forgive me for being so bold as to pursue yours in return.”
Chu Wanning has been rendered speechless. Speechless from the absolute absurdity of the situation.
Mo Ran… likes him.
Actually.
Actually likes him.
And like like, specifically.
“I would like to date you, Wanning. Maybe not now, not while you’re my student, but-”
“Then I’ll date you in his stead,” Mo Weiyu cut in with a grin. “You’re not my student, I’m not your student, we’re cool, right, kitten? C’mon, I can take you on dates and woo you and make you swoon just like he can. If he makes you one cake, I’ll make you ten.”
“Mo Weiyu, shut up. You’re just a manwhore who doesn’t care about other people’s feelings,” Mo Ran hisses.
“Wanning is different .”
“Wanning is mine.”
Mo Weiyu turns back to Chu Wanning. “My bed is bigger than his.”
“Don’t be disgusting, Weiyu!” Then, Mo Ran pauses. “I can buy a bigger bed if that’s a dealbreaker, Wanning.”
“ Shameless!” Chu Wanning finally finds his voice. “Absolutely shameless, both of you! How can you- How can you even say those things?! Maybe I don’t want either of you anymore!”
He takes advantage of Mo Ran’s shock and pushes himself out of his embrace. He makes a run for his bedroom. Mo Ran is on his feet in a split second, and halfway across the living room, Mo Ran has scooped Chu Wanning up again.
He carries Chu Wanning face to face despite the latter’s violent protests. He can take a few hits from a harmless kitten. Besides, he is too giddy to care.
“Anymore, Wanning, you said anymore,” he breathes, pressing his forehead to Chu Wanning’s.
“Put me down!”
“That means you like me, right, Wanning? I never thought… I didn’t dare hope that you would like me too, oh, Wanning!”
Mo Ran spins them around, causing Chu Wanning to yelp and immediately lock his legs around Mo Ran’s waist. His arms tighten around the older man’s neck as well.
Mo Ran laughs happily, his smile hurting his cheeks. “Wanning, Wanning, I’m so happy right now, I’m going to kiss you, okay?”
“Wh-”
Chu Wanning does not know why he ever thought the twins would kiss differently. They kiss exactly the same . Which is a really bad thing because that means Chu Wanning just went pliant in Mo Ran’s arms, dazed by the kiss.
He does not even realize that Mo Weiyu is watching them do this with a smirk on his face.
Somehow they end up in Chu Wanning’s bedroom.
Mo Ran kicks the door open, his hands now holding Chu Wanning by the ass, his lips never stopping either. Mo Weiyu joins them, sweeping the stacks of books off of Chu Wanning’s bed. He chuckles when he sees his leather jacket draped on top of another stack of books.
He sits down on the bed, adopting a grand position, leaning back on his hands with his legs spread like some tyrant emperor.
“Stop hogging him,” Mo Weiyu growls.
Mo Ran lowers Chu Wanning onto the bed and pulls back. They stare into each other’s eyes for a few seconds, breathing hard.
Chu Wanning’s pupils are blown wide. His legs are still locked around Mo Ran’s waist.
“Wanning, you’re so…” Mo Ran trails off briefly. “Beautiful. Absolutely perfect.”
Chu Wanning turns red. He does not know what to say. “Shut up,” he ends up hissing and looks away.
Mo Ran smiles. “But it’s true. Fuck , if you hadn’t been my student, I would have seduced you sooner. The things you do to me…”
He leans down to kiss Chu Wanning again, but instead, his face is shoved back by a large hand.
“My turn,” Mo Weiyu says.
He hooks his arms under Chu Wanning’s and drags him upwards until they are back to chest, like Mo Ran and Chu Wanning had been in the kitchen. Mo Weiyu’s hands slip under Chu Wanning’s shirt, immediately searching out his nipples.
Chu Wanning is so surprised that he does not manage to bite back the gasp or suppress the shiver.
“Kitten, kitten, kitten, look at you,” Mo Weiyu growls with a wicked smile on his face. “You’re practically drooling.”
Chu Wanning opens his mouth, but nothing comes out. He turns furiously red.
Mo Weiyu laughs. “You’re so cute, my kitten, my Wanning.” He twists Chu Wanning’s nipples, causing the younger one to shiver and gasp quietly.
“He’s not yours ,” Mo Ran grumbles briefly. But soon his attention is recaptured by Chu Wanning. How could anyone’s attention stray far when Chu Wanning is in front of them, looking so needy like this?
Mo Ran swallows before easing his fingers into Chu Wanning’s pants. “I’m going to take these off, okay?”
Chu Wanning shudders. He does not have the face to say yes, but he does not have the will to say no either. He has barely processed that any of this is happening at all.
Two of the most gorgeous men he has ever met, in his bed, kissing him, touching him, calling him kitten and Wanning and baobei .
Chu Wanning just squeezes his eyes shut and stops thinking for once, inadvertently handing over control to the twins who are ready to ravish him.
And ravish him they did. All night long.
“It’s not fair,” Mo Weiyu says through a mouthful of congee.
“What’s not fair?” Chu Wanning asks.
They are back in Chu Wanning’s small kitchen, and it is the next morning. The three of them slept in, so the sun is bright and beaming through
Mo Weiyu swallows before grinning. “You call him ‘laoshi’. I want a pet name too.”
Mo Ran walks in, carrying his own bowl of congee. He smacks the top of Mo Weiyu’s head with the back ends of his chopsticks. “That’s because I am actually his laoshi.”
“Wanning~ call me gege.”
Chu Wanning’s eyebrows twitch.
“C’mon, let me hear a ‘Mo-gege’.”
“Weiyu, don’t be gross. We’re eating breakfast,” Mo Ran grumbles. “Don’t bother Wanning.”
“Tch, I’m not bothering him.” Mo Weiyu rolls his eyes at his twin before going back to coaxing Chu Wanning.
“Call me gege and I’ll give you this piece of candy, Wanning~” Mo Weiyu pulls a piece of milk candy out of nowhere and teases it between his forefinger and thumb. The wrapper crinkles.
Chu Wanning glances up, glaring at Mo Weiyu.
“And I’ll buy you cake later. Strawberry cake with lots of cream, just for you, my kitten.”
“ Mo Weiyu .”
Chu Wanning glances at Mo Ran. He has never seen Mo Ran so annoyed before.
“You don’t have to call him anything, Wanning. He’s a bastard who doesn’t know how to control his mouth.”
“Shut the fuck up. Don’t tell him what to do,” Mo Weiyu seethes. A nerve clearly has been struck. Chu Wanning hopes they do not end up fighting.
“You’re the one running your mouth while we’re trying to eat,” Mo Ran snaps back.
Ah, they are fighting. Mo Weiyu is gripping the edge of the table quite hard.
“You’re jealous , aren’t you, Mo Ran? What, because now you have to share your precious Wanning?”
Chu Wanning had gotten the table half-off from a furniture store that sold already cheap furniture. He is not sure if it can survive very long if the twins get physical.
“You little shit, I-”
Chu Wanning grits his teeth. “Gege.”
A tense silence follows.
“Wanning… what did you just say?”
“Ge...ge. Laoshi. Stop arguing. Please.”
Mo Weiyu beams. He cheerfully picks up his chopsticks again. “Thank you, kitten. Gege will buy you lots of cakes later.”
Chu Wanning glares at his bowl, his ears growing extremely hot. He did not do it for the cakes. He did it to save his table! But cake… is also nice. Also… was candy not a part of the deal too? Chu Wanning tries to subtly scan Mo Weiyu’s hand for the candy.
Suddenly, Mo Ran grabs Chu Wanning’s hand. “Wanning, call me gege too.”
Chu Wanning glares at him.
Mo Ran’s eyes are wide. “Please? I’m older than him, I should be gege.”
Chu Wanning grits his teeth. He shakes his head and wrestles his hand out of Mo Ran’s. “No.”
Mo Weiyu’s grin is smug as hell. He rips open the candy wrapper, making Chu Wanning immediately glance over at him. With two pairs of glares on him (Chu Wanning’s infinitely more vicious and jealous), Mo Weiyu pops the milky white candy into his own mouth.
Chu Wanning’s displeasure deepens, and he opens his mouth to protest. But Mo Weiyu leans over, grabs Chu Wanning’s chin, and kisses him.
Chu Wanning grabs Mo Weiyu’s wrist and tries to pull him off, but his grip is tight. Mo Weiyu pushes the candy into Chu Wanning’s mouth, taking that chance to kiss him deeply. His kitten makes a desperate little noise in the back of his throat.
Mo Weiyu pulls back after a moment, licking his lips.
“Get out,” Chu Wanning hisses, shoving the candy into his cheek.
“Awww, c’mon, kitten, don’t be like that,” Mo Weiyu laughs.
“ Get. Out.”
Mo Ran snickers quietly. “You heard him,” he says, mockingly. “Fuck off, gege .”
Chu Wanning turns his glare onto Mo Ran. “You too. Both of you. Scram already!”
“Eh? But Wanning…”
Chu Wanning grabs the spoon from his empty congee bowl and swings it at Mo Ran. It connects with his forearm. For a second, Chu Wanning freezes, his eyes widening in horror as he realizes that he just hit his professor. Then, his face reddens, remembering exactly what he and his professor did last night.
“GET OUT!”
And thus, Chu Wanning chases the twins out of his apartment. Mo Weiyu is still shirtless as he trips over his feet to avoid the books being thrown after them.
Chu Wanning slams the door behind them, locks it, and bolts it. He is breathing hard.
Then, he shuffles over to the couch and snags the t-shirt Mo Weiyu had left behind. Still blushing, Chu Wanning changes into that shirt and heads off to bed again.
He needs a nap.
